Now there is a ride I really miss. And who knows, I might be in that Beast line, lol

I'm not a fan of building it into any price structure, be it general admission or season pass. As I stated before the current system is fine, just overly aggressive on pricing. I sincerely believe revenue could actually increase with lower pricing. I have been in the park with friends that have stated," Wow, $2/ hour, really? I'd get a locker, but that is ridiculous." The current system would be fine, if the patron didn't feel as if the park was gouging them. Other than the most basic of maintenance, and initial installation, there is almost no cost to the park. Whether it be a flat fee, or a more reasonable price per hour, the patron feeling that it is a "fair deal", is the problem. IMHO.

I have always tried to travel as light as possible in the park. I've even got MrsNC to finally travel much lighter. But the real problem I see here is the loss of revenue for the park on "item" sales. They really need to find a better balance on locker pricing. The current rate of $2/hour, if I remember correctly, is nothing short of outrageous. I can tell you for certain, these rates have caused me to not buy said items during the day. I know the response many will have is to get it later. This does not work on items such as on ride photos. I understand CF needs revenue to continue to offer "the best day ever", but customer satisfaction is a large part of that. The current locker pricing is seen by most I've heard from as, unreasonable. Revenue could quite possibly increase if lockers where more reasonably priced. I know as well that many use the carry out to the car and return system, and that is great, but for the casual park goers, this is seen as lost time. As far as the refillable drinks, I could see a card being sold in lieu of an actual cup.

My parents had a house just outside of Panama City, and I visited the Miracle Strip many times. It was a fun little park, and the Starliner was a great little coaster, the first 2/3 of the ride was outstanding. Sadly it's been much longer since I walked the boards in Santa Cruz. But, in the almost 30 years since, I remember it fondly. The Giant Dipper is another great little coaster, and the entire experience of being there is not easily forgotten.

^They will have zip lines at the track this May, behind T4 I believe. Would love to get to the Creation Museum sometime soon, thanks for the trip report.

Darn, had just posted the Consuela vid on another thread. And while our trivia knowledge may be lacking, mine was good enough to win Great pics, and a great time. I truly hope it becomes an ongoing tradition. Thanks for all the work that made this possible, especially you and Malem. A special shout-out to Boddah, I shall not talk of the balcony experience, lol.

It was a wonderful time, and hopefully something we can make an annual tradition. I'm pretty sure Mrs.NoChickens will be making, or expanding, a trip report soon. On a side note, if anyone from room 4015 ended up with a white charger, and doesn't know what its for, it's probably ours. Can't seem to locate the charger for the tablet :-/.

We are planning trips to CP for coaster mania. As well as a swing east and south to go to Dorney, KD, and Carowinds. Hope to fit in a trip to MA as well, but it's in no way planned yet. And of course as many trips to KI as we can possibly make.

Look at the difference between your 2 pics, there is more of the circle showing in the second. It must be a sun trick, or just some kind of construction debris.

I told Mrs NC it was being removed earlier today. But since then more has came into view, so I don't know if it is being removed, or if the sun is playing tricks.

Maybe they'll announce, that they made the announcement.
