I do have one issue with these "What do you want?" surveys as it shows a lack of creativity going on at Cedar Fair. If guests got to pick, Kings Island would have never gotten Mystic Timbers and Cedar Point would never have got Maverick. I would much rather Cedar Fair come up with its own original ideas and get the best bang for the buck coaster.

This should be one of the monthly specials at KI: https://fb.watch/rLsnR-89EX/?

They had people working registers and the tickets were on a screen. It was the longest food line I waited for. Now granted it's a busy weekend but I also ate at Enrique's and that lined moved fluidly.

I had Skyline yesterday at the park. The food was prepared well, and the fries were done perfectly. However, the operations appeared to be more or less a dumpster fire. It was roughly 30 minutes in between ordering my food and receiving it. Alot of custom orders I.E. cheese on the side, with or without mustard or onions. I get it, us Cincinnatians have our own particular way we like our Skyline. Some out of town folks call it "cult" like. It appears that most people are not waiting in the line to receive their food but are congregating in large groups at the takeout window. Given that people were not waiting in line, the crew working the registers kept pumping out more tickets than the back kitchen could keep up with. This caused a lot of orders to be given out in error and food being sent back to be "Fixed." Which further delayed things. Not sure how they can prevent that, other than maybe attempting to make it more like a drive through or go with a chipotle model where you pick your fixings.

I used to share the same sentiment. Now I believe the reason why chicken tenders are sold at every location is so that families with young picky eaters can eat together. Just my two cents.

That’s another good coaster, that drop track gets me every time.

I’m totally on board with an indoor coaster. If the park has any aspirations on operating year round, the weather has to be removed from the equation. I think a lot of people would like the idea of seeing Phantom Theatre make a return. Imagine it in coaster form? A good example of an breathing new life in a beloved IP is Darkoaster at BGW:

If that is the case maybe they move production to Wishbone grill? Plenty of grills in that location.

If his pass is/was already under a payment plan, subsequent add ons have to be purchased in full. Otherwise you have to cancel it, then repurchase with it all falling under the payment plan umbrella.

The Eiffel Tower was down today.

I’d rather them take that money and add 13ft in height to Orion. Ending the “Giga” debate.

Yes but my point being is that objects that are not metal, can still be brought onto the ride. There is a reason the TSA x-rays you, your belongings and doesn’t solely rely on metal detectors. -
One would think they would refund him no questions if he didn’t use his pass? I can see the park settling with him because it’s cheaper to do so than have this make it to court. That being said it will be interesting to see what comes about for this. It will surely create a ripple effect within the amusement park industry depending on the outcome.

Soak City Water Park - Splash World They could theme it all with Looney Tunes. https://newlooneytunes.fandom.com/wiki/Splashwater_Bugs

Metal detectors don’t prevent loose articles from making it onto the ride. https://www.mlive.com/travel/2018/07/hot_sauce_injures_steel_vengea.html Maybe CF should look into foregoing metal detectors and instead issue safety glasses with strap to riders, and after the ride take them back. Like what most 3D attractions do. -
Something like Disney’s Magic bands would sell like hot cakes at KI. During Winterfest the park sold out on the Wonder Wands which used NFC to interact with objects within the park.

It’s nice to see the park embracing technology. I haven’t used the kiosks yet, but they look great! The scanners in its current iteration is a bit unintuitive. Having to wear and adjust my Fast Lane bracelet to get it lined up with a scanner is very dated. I say that because of the experience I’ve had with Disney’s lightning lane which uses NFC and can be scanned from a card, phone, Watch, or their version of a Magic Band. I’m assuming this is an NFC reader emblem? It appears so and that I find exciting because there is so many things that they could do with such a system. Imagine scanning into the ride and being able to see your ride count for the year/day/all-time. They could keep your ride count that you can compare with other guests ride counts.

Anymore, one should expect the circus to be in town when CF attempts to deliver on a new season pass or add on. Adorable as it is predictable.

If anything Hurler receives Titan-track. GCI has a better track record with CF. -
Had the same thing today and it was good.

Except maybe it would take on a DC Comics name..
