$5 dollars for the whole season is probably more than what they pay for the reusable cup. Plus the park would probably have to pay more for garbage removal.

I'm the complete opposite I prefer and wait for the very backseat on coasters. Typically the lines are not as long and I feel like the very backseat gives a more out of control, forceful ride. Unlike the front seat we're it tends to be more scenic. Occasionally I'll wait for the front seat depending on my mood and what the line is looking like, but 9 out of 10 I'm getting in line for the very backseat.

Cedar Fair have been holding their cards closely on Hurler at Kings Dominion. The ride was closed for the entire season for renovations and that's about all that was said of it. No announcements on what said renovations might be or whom is doing work on the coaster. Now Meanstreak is being removed by track rather than most wooden coaster demises including Son of Beast, which was getting ripped down by cables. I find it all strange.

That would be a great fit, someone who can actually explain to me what TOS rule I broke rather than having a post removed and having no idea why.

Its partially the reason I don't go to meet ups, my first and last one being Banshee construction behind of scenes tour, and I left early.

Indeed KK is in a poor location, they are in direct competition with Holiday World. My only suggestion for Ed Hart & Co. Would be to invest heavily into the waterpark. While they may never supplant Holiday World's fantastic waterpark. If they do enough people might forgo making the hour and a half drive to Holiday World when they have KK in their backyard.. Coney Island and The Beach Waterpark manage to survive with KI in direct competition and I believe it's due to their respective water parks that have much to do with that.

Definitely going to have to give that a try!

Big Dipper ( Geauga Lake ) needs a new home.

Last Friday, was the first time since last year I ate Skyline at the park, I vowed to never go back but I could not resist crinkle cut fries. ( only skyline at the park has it ) It was around dinner time and the line was at the door, I nervously approached the line thinking this was probably going to take ages but proceeded anyways. To my suprise the line went fairly quick. I ended up getting Chilli cheese fries and they were fantastic. I did notice afterwards on my walk to Vortex that the other skyline location was closed. ( I assumed they moved the manpower to the much busier IS location. )

When FoF was constructed the park KI had 4 trains delivered. The park never did operate the 4th train since the coaster opened. If I'm not mistaken FoF typically operates with only 2 trains anymore, they could cycle two trains through maintenance during Winterfest and 2 trains during the regular season.

The temperature needs to be in mid-40s to start the steel coasters. With maintenance schedules and weather patterns, running any coaster in December is almost certainly impractical. I'm still pining for that elusive Beast snow ride*, though. *I'm not counting November 1, 2014, as specs of precipitation were few and far between. Flight of Fear could run year round, with periods of closure for maintence. Much like the coasters in warmer climates such as Florida.

Kings Island could have Flight of Fear operating for winterfest, that would be a huge plus!

Valleyfair permits were leaked, according to http://screamscape.com/html/valleyfair.htm Valleyfair is receiving a Star Fyler Ride. The ride itself is very much like WindSeeker. Six Flags recently had a few built, called Skyscreamer. I don't see Cedar Fair adding these to parks that already have WindSeeker.

Dorney Park, Worlds of Fun, Carowinds and Cedar Point are having their 2017 attraction announcement on August 18, Kings Dominion on the 20th and no word on Kings Island's 2nd announcement date. I find this very interesting having a multitude of parks making same day announcement. Cedar Fair must have something up its sleeve that it will be rolling out to majority of its parks. www.screamscape.com

Giant Top Spins didn't fair well either for HUSS.

Seems like anything with "GIANT" and "HUSS" should be avoided by parks.

it's a B&M trait, Gatekeeper at CP also rattles and clanks a lot when the train passes through the course.
