when did RMC start designing and building wooden coasters?
-
It could work. Do a slight turn out of the station and you can have the lift hill go up by the side of the turn around on Banshee, then the return/brake run could come in undernether it or over The Bat. And I don't think it would ruin it's theming. I'd imagine any coaster over there would have a similar theme to The Bat and Banshee, and it would be over by the back section of Banshee whereas most of the Theming is at the front with the queue and station. If they build a coaster that has a cable lift. With a steep incline it would clear Banshee easily from the old SOB station.

A boat was upside down at the bottom of the hill, with riders submerged in the water. If not for the quick response of bystanders, people may very well have died.Your "response" therefore shows a complete and total lack of understanding of the subject you are trying to argue about. What COULD have happened can be just as important as what actually DID happen... ...which is apparently a lesson that Intamin also needs to learn.jcgoble3, who had a snarky comment here but decided to be polite and remove it before he posted Sorry my humor came off as a lack of understanding. Don't judge me, I have Intamititus especially in the Giga coaster department.

Yes it's Intamin, but is the relationship between CF and Intamin so toxic that they wouldn't buy a 40+ year old tried and true model? It might be. I'm asking. Ouimet doesn't like Intamin, I'm suprised all of our installations weren't Vekomas considering their relationship with Disney. Kinzel at least changed up the manufactures of coasters during his short tenure with the Paramount Parks.

2016: Antique Cars return at KI.

INTAMINitus has returned...............YoungStud would be proud. I would think that manufacturers should go into this poll. I mean come on, a Vekoma SLC is not a B&M Invert, or an ARROW invert for that matter. INTAMINtitus is uncurable, so in reality it has never left. and to agree with you that even tho the coaster is the same type, different manufacturers produce different coaster experiences. But unfortunately Cedar Fair is going to build nothing but B&M. Which B&M makes excellent inverts and floorless coasters in my opinion.. Outside of that realm its a snooze fest. Especially their hyper coasters.

The most important part of a coaster whether it is a INTAMIN coaster or not..

Too much effort for me to participate. <a href="http://s362.photobucket.com/user/x241/media/image.jpg1_5.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i362.photobucket.com/albums/oo63/x241/image.jpg1_5.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo image.jpg1_5.jpg"/></a>

Andrew wearing his typical horse head.

Every coaster manufacture has made disappointments, Vekoma will forever be tarnished because of the cookie cutter SLC's. The Disney chain has 4 Big Thunder Mountain Railroads with only 2 of them being built by Vekoma. the one at Disneyland Resort that Derailed was built by Dynamic Structures. The cause ended up being from improper maintenance on Disney's behalf.

I didn't know Disney wasn't a major chain in and outside the U.S.

Looked down upon? majority of Disney's coasters are Vekoma's including their newest addition Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

Ringling Circus Eliminating Elephant Acts
Tr0y replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Those elephants have it better than most people, a 200 acre home with the circus spending 65k per elephant. -
it's called a headchopper effect.

avoid Intimidator 305, you might catch Intaminitis.

I think a small restaurant on the 50ft observation deck on the Eiffel Tower would be awesome.
