I agree with you, Adventure Express has seen better days it either be refurbished or replaced.

Banshee not having bins, swayed me from buying this years souviner cup at the park due to the fact i wont have a place to put it, without having to pay the price of the drink itself for a locker. Ive been drinking alot of free water because of it.

RMC don't make wooden coasters, they make steel coasters that are dressed up as if it were a woodie. Both their Topper track and I-Box is considered steel track. A true wooden coaster does not use steel track, real woodies use laminated wood with mounted flattened steel strips. Unlike Topper track that eliminates the steel strips and laminated layers of wood resulting in a smoother ride, now it may provide somewhat of a wooden coaster feel, but that is due to the steel wheels on the train, replace those with ploys and it will be smooth as glass. Its surprising that they consider such a fraud a wooden coaster..

I got screwed on Banshee i sprained my hand so i was wearing a hand brace that wasn't metal, but Velcro and one thin piece of plastic. The first time i got in line they checked my hand and let me passed, i get up to the ride and pick the backseat and i Was able to ride. I come back later in the day after riding a couple other coasters and same deal the lady standing at the front of the line checked my brace and let me threw, i get up to the ride and ask for the front seat, as you all know getting the front seat on a busy day with assigned rows is a treat. I get in my seat and buckle up only to be stopped and told i couldn't ride because of my brace, i said okay and proceeded to take the brace off, and again was stopped and told i wasn't allowed to do that and was kicked off the ride.. This was utter BS because one i was allowed the first time and two now can you tell me i can't my own brace off? Three because i was allowed to wear the brace on every other coaster ..

The El toro is a pure wooden roller-coaster. The way it was manufactured tho is different. the track itself was prefabricated, by taking wood thin wood layers and tightly comdensing them together making it very strong and being molded into whatever shape needed, making very smooth transitions. it uses the same steel strips mounts that the trains wheels ride along like any other true wooden coaster. ie The Beast, The Racer, ect.. This isn't the case for RMC type coasters., they use steel as the primary track with wood supporting it.

I do miss those old school skid brakes it made comeing to Kings Island on a rainy day much more intriguing.

No, this was the original before it was cloned, google map Darien Lake you will see it sitting in pieces in a field at the back of the park.

I mentioned that i would like the addition of a B&M Floor less coaster, BigSexy and Youngstud would never say such a thing. ProSlide make true water coasters the rest aka Mack and Intamin are roller-coasters with splashdowns.
-
First standing coaster ever designed by Intamin with the help of Giovanola aka B&M which boasts the signature box style B&M track. Is sitting in a bunch of peices in a field at Darien Lake. I don't understand why they would keep such a coaster in storage. Instead of either scrapping the ride or repainting / refurbishing the coaster and adding on to the coaster count in the park.. Opinions anyone?
-
I also think a GREAT addition would be a Dive Machine. Think about it. The nearest one is in BGW. The only thing that should be diving with the next coaster addition is diving from 300ft+ feet, made by a Swiss manufacture that starts with a I, and ends with a N. Otherwise the only addition from B&M i would like would be a Floor-less Coaster.

The punishment for line jumping is lax at KI, if this was CP they would have been kicked out. -
I would take a B&M Floorless coaster over any 300ft B&M hyper coaster any day. KI could definitly, use another kiddy coaster, a Mack Wild Mouse coaster would be a great addition.... I would like if Soak City got some additions a Proslide Watercoaster comes to mind.
