Off topic but, has anyone noticed on the webcam, that one of The Bat train's is sitting midway on the lift hill. Any reason behind that?

Can anyone confirm what type of trees are being marked? There is a possibility that the tree removal going on could be because they are trying to eradicate the Emarld Ash Borer ( beetle ). But back to the coaster subject, I don't see KI getting a massive coaster such as a giga in this location, this soon after Banshee. I'm not throwing out the possibility of it being a coaster tho, considering the Point got 2 coasters 3 years apart. That would be the same amount of years between Banshee 2014 and a possible coaster for 2017. But nothing of the size of a giga.

I don't understand why thread was created, considering the long and lengthy discussion on how poor KI's food concessions from last season in previous threads. I don't feel sorry for anyone renewing their season long meal plan since it was apparent by the park that nothing was going to be done for this season. For those who have bought their first Season long meal plan, my heart ( and stomach ) goes out to you.

Sunlite pool always seems packed on hot summer days. A coaster addition would be nice but flood waters would present an issue. Coney would need build up some high footers to prevent water damage, and or damage from things drifting down the Ohio river.

Now that we are in the Cedar Fair Era. I think it would be best for a new dark ride much like CW's The Gaurdian or Knott's Iron Reef. The park should just stay away from animatronics, and any lighting that isn't LED.

Whatever happens to the water rides within the park is meh to me.. I don't like the fact of getting my shoes completely soaked and having to walk around with wet shoes for the entire day, not to mention ruin the shoes. The fact I can't ride barefoot is bogus.

Is it possible CP is looking to overtake Six Flags Magic Mountain in coaster count? Or the other possibility that with CP's close proximity, CF's relationship with B&M, and the fact that Dive Coasters are not very popular in the U.S. That they got a great deal for the coaster and decided to go ahead and build another coaster, 3 years after spending roughly 30 million on Gatekeeper and main entrance upgrades?

Less exciting than lukewarm dishwater is a B&M coaster after the MCBR. With my intamintitus aside, this is like comparing apples to oranges. Both Intamin, B&M and any coaster manufacture for that matter provide different rides. I just wish Cedar Fair would see that and have a coaster built by some other manufacture. (does not have to be Intamin) There is Chance Rides, Mack, Gerstlauer, Vekoma, S&S, GCI, RMC and the list goes on and on. I like having the choice with diversity, not just a bunch of "Happy Mediums".

The backlash CFA received for their beliefs was a bit unfair.. There are a lot of companies involved in politics, and a lot of companies politically left of CFA that aren't afraid to express it. They do not receive such backlash in doing so.

Or better yet, just incorporate the preloaded card system to your KI season pass. To go even further, use your KI app with your pass linked on it. Then you will just have to pull out your smartphone and scan a barcode to enter the park, eat, play games, and make a purchase. Streamline and save $$$$$ you could also pay in-app instead of having to visit a machine.

The fact that Hurler is still around and not Shockwave is still mind boggling to me. There must be big plans for Hurler, especially now that it is closed for the entire season. The park itself is overdue for a coaster as well.

PETA will never be done. I think it's interesting to point out how much of an opportunity Blackfish was for them to throw hate against SeaWorld. PETA is against ALL animals in captivity. They simply used this incident as fuel to start a fire with the major marine life "zoo" (i.e. SeaWorld). The move on SeaWorld's part was sure a smart decision, it just proves that public opinion can change a company. Especially a company that relies on people's loyalty to come back to its parks. "all animals in captivity" wouldn't that include dogs and cats?

I am confused with this decision, didn't they plan and are already in the process of building new tanks for these orca's? If they don't plan on keeping them then why don't they just condition them for release and then do so?

I think that one has been there, they just made special note of it on the park map so that people would get their refill there rather than hope into a food line. Also I noticed in the park map that there will be a railroad crossing for the new line for WWC. To me I find this strange, because it wouldn't seem cost affective because now there will have to be a security guard stand post there to make sure people don't cross when the train comes by.
