There have been markers seen around Timberwolf since the middle of last year, the berms on the side have been removed, and the organizers of Spirit Song have laid off a good portion of their staff. The writing is on the wall for Timberwolf.

I’m not being overdramatic. I observed, made a rational hypothesis, and posted it.

However, there HAS been work done at Timberwolf over the last few weeks. Considering the facility is extremely overrun with grass, bushes, and shrubs along with a some activity observed in the area nearby dating back to last summer, what makes you think they are keeping Timberwolf, when there’s no certainty if there will be a Spirit Song next year?

The thing is the bores are not in an arrangement that would indicate a building. The randomness of the bores screams a coasters. We have seen bores taken at KI in the past. At the beginning of the 2018 there were bores by the old Dinosaurs Alive attraction. Bores are usually for deep foundations, so, that of in itself would rule out maintenance buildings.

I’d assume a coaster or tall attraction. That appears to be bore holes, which are used for sites with large loading conditions. It likely isn’t a flat ride, as a flat ride is spread out over an area using a spread footing. The thing is the bores are not in an arrangement that would indicate a building. That’s exactly what I was referencing. The removal of the carriage led to the system having no dampeners.

This did happen at a CF park as well. A ride collapsed at CP due to natural frequency/resonance event.

The ride entered natural frequency due to motor running with brakes being engaged. That’s a huge engineering oversight, and I wouldn’t be surprised if all the Zamperla frisbee rides would be shut down immediately until a fix is found.

Well, it appears the markers were not planted by the county, as the waterline was not given the go ahead. I guess it’s time to go back to square 1.

The Timberwolf is an remnant from another time. Nobody will book there, and it wastes valuable space. It would be smart for the park to demolish it and expand the park. We know that the park is looking at that area of land as the waterline project, if it was even for that spot of land, hasn’t been approved by the city, so there would be no $$ available for surveying.

There’s no use for the structure. The organizers of Spirit Song are not holding an event this year, and have downsized their staff by a significant margin. With it being unused, there is no need to keep it, especially when the park can work towards future projects.

There was an accident on the Manhattan Express today while testing the new cars. The train had a rollback and derailed on the lift hill. I don’t think the coaster can be saved, as it appears the damage is quite extensive.

Nope, the drop off location would be the markers by the original drop off by the main marquee sign. From the pictures that were posted, it’s clear it’s for the drop off location.
