I believe there already is an exit for Banshee that allows you to by-pass the photo area. Regarding the discussion on people taking selfies on-ride: I think anyone who takes a selfie while the ride is in motion should be fired from their job, even if it's not a job in the park. These people seem to enjoy showing people on Facebook what they do more than they actually enjoy what they do, which is baffling to me. Narcissism seems to grow more and more out of control by the day.

Using Lebron's name without his permission in the park could indeed have serious ramifications; however, I don't know as much about the use of "King James" and whether or not that has been trademarked by LeBron or some biblical source. Either way when a spiel includes calling a ride a name other than its proper name, I can't help but shake my head. I just don't get the point of that.

Weather most certainly was a factor. Doesn't get much nicer than this for mid-July.

Ahhh that reminds me I need to get my butt down there this year, haven't been yet. That Birds of Wonder show might be my all-time favorite live show anywhere. Super cool.

My wife and I used to walk to the OPH in Anderson when we lived on the corner of Forest and 8 Mile. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast places ever, though a bit expensive. It's worth the premium though.

One of my favorite things about the big Orlando theme parks is the queues. A great queue can make a long wait feel much shorter. Sadly the need for well-themed queues and back stories for rides has gone by the wayside because of cell phones. I know if I was running an amusement/theme park, I wouldn't bother wasting money on a nice, well-themed queue or attempting to add back story to a ride since most of the patrons are going to have their faces glued to their cell phones anyway.

By far my favorite aspect of Haunt. On a Saturday you can get up to what, 6-7 hours of night riding time in the park? That is SO much fun IMO.

I can only imagine that it would, but we know what happens when you assume.... Thankfully I have a pretty awesome photo printer at home so I should be good either way, in the event that I would actually want to print out a photo...which is probably unlikely. If I can get my wife to the park this season, this is certainly something we would look into. I guess the only thing that might deter me is the number of on-ride photo kiosks that will be open. It seemed like the last time I went there were several that were not.

I already addressed your posts and search engines in another thread earlier today. I'm mainly just busting your chops, but I do look at many of your posts in 2 separate, contradicting ways: 1. Why can't he just speak in terms that everyone can comprehend, like everyone else on here does? and 2. I enjoy learning things and I learn something new pretty much every day on here from thedevariouseffect, either from him sharing his experiences as a ride op and/or in the service, or by doing a web search for half the stuff in his posts that I don't know what he's talking about. So while sometimes I am initially annoyed by an occasional post of yours littered with your lingo, I almost always leave the discussion with more knowledge than I had beforehand, and for that I thank you. You're certainly a unique and informative poster.

^There's yet another devariouseffect lingo post. We have a "pt", an "MVC", and a "pass up". I swear I can't understand half your posts dude!

The only 4 I can recall riding are Banshee, Raptor and both sides of Dragon Challenge. Of those, I like Banshee most.

Family flats definitely seem to be lacking a bit, especially this season with SR&R down for so long.

I have no clue what you just said. ...which is the case for me in easily 50 percent of that guy's posts. He really, really enjoys talking in code on here for some reason. Sure I could do a search for what "a pre workout" is, but if we're going down that road, then I should just open a new tab with a search engine open any time I'm about to read a post from tde.

Eh I think KI has the family coaster thing covered pretty dang well. I wouldn't hate the idea of a new ride in PS though.

An Interesting Drink Pass A Park Employee Offered Me Today
thegajone replied to Miythandria's topic in Kings Island
More importantly, it would be nice if all the staff were informed of the details of each option. I did the single day meal deal last year on a Saturday during Haunt and had several food vendors look at me like I had 2 heads when I tried to order something off of their menu that was included on the "master PDF" I was given. -
Potato Works is WAY more than I can eat in a single sitting for about 7-8 bucks. However there's not much variety in that meal, obviously.

The Beechmont one is roughly 1-2 minutes from my house (I live just off Mt. Carmel Tobasco). Decent area, reeeeal shady hotel.

If security catches you smoking in a queue, what do they do about it? Just ask you to put it out? Or is there a greater punishment?

I was being sarcastic. Which is why I gave you a "like". I thought the "..." at the end of your post was a good sarcasm indicator.

LOL the abacus makes that picture a 10/10 IMO

I was thinking the same exact thing. That's the one area that I think is pretty much perfect the way it is. Other than maybe bringing back certain fountains (which I doubt will ever happen), I can't really think of 1 thing I'd change in Coney Mall.

Holy....he collided with not just a little bird, but a goose? Insane. That couldn't have felt great for either one of them.

2 recent ones: "if you fall off the raft on WWC, you'll be electrocuted as soon as you touch the water", and my new personal all-time favorite, "there used to just be one Racer, then they built the second one a few years later."

Don, what's your split between Red and Blue Racer? Do you have a preference? And why does Blue always seem to win!?!
