I think La Rosa's pizza is pretty good myself. And, there are a lot of pizza joints in my little corner of the world. I wouldn't mind see a TGI Friday's either. It costs about the same as any of the food in the park plus it tastes a whole heck of a lot better.

I agree and disagree. Some names were pretty cool, others were kinda cool, but named after crappy Paramount movies.

Well said, Beast 1979. I was stoked when I heard that CF was interested in purhcasing the (former) Paramount Parks and I still hold great hope for the CF chain.

Cedar Fair does not own, operate or manage The Kings Island Resort and Conference Center. The resort's employees are not Cedar Fair employees. Well, still. The original sentiment was to congratulate the guy. I don't really care if he's CF or not.

You may be right on those. Never looked at images of any of those. However, now that the (former) Paramount Parks are in the chain, you can say that CF loves trees! Or, at least appears to! I did hear about how Knott's is virtually a concrete jungle. Terp, any links to satellite images of Knott's or Dorney or WOF?

I would take an Intamin any day. Well, I have to be honest...I'd take a B&M any day at KI as well.

^Then, you need to look at a satellite image from CP. There are far more trees there than they are given credit for. Not to mention, there have been a lot of trees planted around their latest additions...however...those trees are still very young and are not nearly as noticeable as some of the "elder" trees.

Cool...another West Virginian! Anyhoo, probably won't go opening day, but early in May to have my Season Pass Processed. I think it will be too cold for me on opening day.

It can happen to anyone.. Remember mc hammer? Made millions, and lost it all. He is a preacher last I heard. Do you know how he lost it all? He had lots of dancers with him on stage and was overpaying them considerably, not to mention picking up the tab all the time. Seems he was way too generous. Nothing surprises me any more with Michael Jackson.

Sounds like a cool experience. This year, since I purchased season passes, I am going to do more of the things that I used to skip over. I have all the time in the world and multiple visits won't be a problem this year.

I'm sure there will be some new paint jobs as well as other improvements. I'm very interested in their new shows for this year. Haven't seen one since the '80s.

^A little trivia. Do you know who was originally supposed to do the Star Wars Sountrack? (Frank Zappa) It would have been weird to say the least, if you know who Frank Zappa is. John Williams is awesome, I agree with you there! He is also repsonsible for Indiana Jones, Jaws, the re-make of War of the Worlds and I know there's others that I can't think of right now.

I need some Coney history. I know that KI was opened as a kind of replacement(or something like that) for Coney. I heard the problem with Coney was that it flooded quite a bit back in the day. How is it that they managed to stay open and is flooding still a problem? If not, how did they solve that probem? I would really like to visit Coney...never been there. But, I think I'd really like the atmosphere as it would be a huge change from something like KI and CP to something a bit smaller, but with lots of character.
