Well, most people always considered CP ahead of SFMM considering Flashback has been SBNO for years now. Also, I thought Guiness listed CP with the most coasters, not SFMM.

I went only two times and had a great time there. No, it was not KI or even CP, but that's what made it different. I actually preferred GL's entrance to CP's or KI's.

I haven't kept up with this coaster. What were the legal troubles they were having?

I heard that there were supposed to be some more food sponsorships in SF's parks.

What I am really interested in, since we already know what kind of coaster it is, is how heavy the theming will be. Should do them good that the Dark Knight movie is released this year.

That looks like a really interesting layout. Talk about ultimate use of the surrounding land.

Has the land for GL been sold as of yet? I would think that would help...some.

Knowing CF and how they love to trim their wood coasters, it very well could happen, providing it didn't slow you down too much as not to make it to the MCBR.

I thought the Rose Bowl was much smoother than last time I rode it, which was 2006. It could use a little TLC, but I don't see that part of the ride getting much smoother. I think a lot of it has to do with the speed at which it is taken.

So, roughly three months? Not sure with the wear and tear of only a partial season exactly how much work will need to be done to SOB. Although, most wood coasters get some kind of track work every year.

I think he was referring to past SOB improvements coupled with the money that is being spent on The Crypt aka TR:TR. If they are pinching pennies so hard, they would not have bothered to repair SOB in the first place.

To me, the 50-60 million cut backs are a last ditch effort since I believe 2008 is Shapiro's last year to right the ship. I could be wrong about that though. It's funny to people for them to say they want to focus on internet sales and teens considering that they were trying to make SF a more family friendly park. As far as I know, most of their season pass sales comes from that crowd of teens anyways. So, it makes sense to do what they are saying.

^Maybe. Maybe not. Could be that they want to have two very distinctively different kids' areas for the two parks in Ohio. Could be that they haven't even made a decision as to whether or not to extend the license considering it doesn't have to be renewed for a couple of years. Time is on their side.
