Why didn't arrow think of that? Well, remember this. Ron Toomer was a lazy designer. It's obvious in the horrid transitions that most arrows have. Not to mention, he basically bent a coat hanger and said wow, I designed a loop.

I say leave it as is. Sure, I am bored of the pre-show as I have seen it many times. But, it is in pretty good shape, at least for now. I just hope it doesn't go the way of Disaster Transport.

Why did you spend the entire time at Nick or Treat?

Save the Date: Kings Island's 2008 Opening Day!
KIBeast replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Doesn't really matter to me what opening day is, since I probably won't go until May anyway, when it is much warmer. -
I would take Demon Drop over Drop Zone or Power Tower.

I do remember the Wacky Races. I also remember another favorite of mine was the Laffalympics. Remember that one? The Yogi Yahooies, the Scooby Doobies, and the Really Rottens. I'd also like for Jabber Jaw to be Twinkle Toes' Vice President. What could be better than a shark who sounds like Curly of the Three Stooges?
-
I vote Twinkle Toes of the Hanna Barberra Party!

Ronny, I am adding that quote to my sig!

Where's the troll patrol when you need them? New for 2008! Troll:The Ride of Disrespect!

^Ever seen Wild at Heart? Great Cage movie. Also co-stars someone you all might be familiar with...a very young Laura Dern, of Jurassic Park fame.

Price gouging at its' best! Or should I say worst?!

Did you mean CF? I couldn't see how CP had anything to do with KI. Just figured it was a typo. I've heard a lot of good and bad that has come from CF.

I appreciate the linked articles, Interpreter. However, many here are taking these as facts of the case and nothing has been proven one way or the other. There are a lot of suspected scenarios, but nothing has come out as factual just yet. So, let's keep this all in mind when some of you aroud here have already tried and convicted the injured parties in question. I have heard all of these things about the two boys supposedly being drunk or carrying slingshots. Nothing is fact only speculation. Let's wait until we get the whole story before we just jump on the latest bandwagon of alleged evidence.

Hmmmm, Evil Corporate Wal-Mart or buy from the stinkin' French? Doesn't sound like much of a choice. Face/Off is a great movie. Cage and Travolta kick butt!

^ I noticed that as well. It's no wonder I could never build a suspended coaster without breaking people's necks on RCT.

I didn't say you were complaining. I wouldn't be cutting down on any parks' rides that I've never personally been on. Case Example: I had heard many complaints about Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake. Many people were calling it a hang-n-bang. After CF acquired GL, I decided to make a trek up there (but not based on who owned it). I rode Thunderhawk about 5-6 times over 2 days and I thought it was a pretty intense and smooth ride. I could have just made the assumption that it was very rough and not ride it at all, but I wanted to see for myself.

But, that was not figured to be a problem in the design process or they would have banked them in the first place. Hindsight is 20/20.

What makes KI more family oriented than CP? Well, for starters, there's Nick Universe. #1 kids area for years. CP has nothing that even comes remotely close. I don't think that their new Planet Snoopy will even come that close to NU. Not to mention, KI has more coasters that the whole family can enjoy. Sure, Kinzel may put a little more thrill into the parks, but the fact that CP is now changing their focus more towards families after seeing KI is a hint that their not going to change KI into CP II.

I think he means stop trying to be the resident expert on things that you know nothing about, Jackson PKI. I don't complain about Six Flags because I have never been to any of their parks. Now, I have read trip reports here and at Coasterbuzz and it seems to me that whatever problems they had with maintaining their rides is becoming a thing of the past.
-
I am also doubting that CF has any plans to change KI from a theme park. They want CP and KI to have two separate identities. CP is for the coaster lovers and KI is the family oriented park. To change either one would be a mistake. Granted, CP may get some more famiy oriented rides to accomodate more of the GP, but they will always be the Coaster Mecca of Ohio. And KI may get a nice, thrilling coaster on ocassion, but they are clearly the leader when it comes to family attractions.
