  1. I miss the loop, but the new trains are a good trade off. Now, if they would only add a tunnel where the old loop was...
  2. I'd venture to say that the seats will be repaired to make it look new.
  3. I agree Rustbelt, about moving rides around. I think some here have played RCT a little too much.
  4. Interpreter, I like Time Warp and yes, I've been on it a few times with my brother. He found Texas Twister to be much more uncomfortable than TW. I thought it was fine.
  5. The one flat ride was indeed called the Rotor, so you are correct. The bobsled style ride I think you are referring to was The Bayern Curve, although Matterhorn is not really like that. Matterhorn I believe has tubs that swing whereas The Bayern Curve ran on rails almost like coaster track. Screamin' Demon was my first looper and backwards ride. Seemed really cool at the time.
  6. You are kinda correct. SOB is KI's answer to Millennium Force. Both built in 2000. Cedar Point went the way of steel while KI went the way of wood.
  7. ^Yes. And apparently, some people believe that by the few of us there that day, that was enough to keep GL open.
  8. The materials, duh!
  9. Actually, Gordon, I was referring to last year when I could have met you guys at GL. I think we either went one day apart or were there on the same day and didn't know it.
  10. I want to buy a SP for all of the parks, jacket or no. Really, I could care less about the jacket. And yes, I do see why people are disappointed. But, there's no point sweating the small stuff in life. Example: I lost my phone first thing on my last trip, That could have ruined my whole day. But, I was not about to let that happen. I didn't travel 3 hours to have my day ruined over something minor.
  11. I'm still PO'd I didn't make it to KIC day. There have been a few times over the years I could have met with Ronny, Ryan and a few others, but it hasn't panned out yet. Maybe next year...
  12. That is Furious Baco. I don't care for the ball coaster, but the Zac Spin looks pretty neat.
  13. That price is very reasonable. They gate was already too low when they did have a rides side.
  14. Maybe because CF had that puppy running better and smoother than 6F ever thought too? I rode it several times at GL after the CF acquisition, and it was always a smooth ride.
  15. It's not for Michigan's adventure. They are getting Thunderhawk which is a completely different manufacturer. It could be more track for behemoth. Not sure if all of that track has arrived at CW.
  16. ^Not only that. CF would not be calling B&M for additional Vekoma track pieces.
  17. I don't think cloning is that bad of an idea. Most of the GP aren't even aware of that fact.
  18. Maybe 4-8pm is not a good time for them?
  19. I didn't work there, but that's a pretty sweet story about meeting your wife.
  20. Wow! You give people something for free and they still complain!
  21. It may be unimportant, but, maybe some really want to know. Would it be that big of deal or that big of secret that you can't say?
  22. Yeah, this is a worthy cause. What about all the billions of other cockroaches that get stamped out by children every year? Who is taking up for them? Maybe they should go to the Raid or Blackflag headquarters and protest there. Maybe they should change it to PETI - People for the Ethical Treatment of Insects
  23. I definitely can guarantee, unless B&M have changed their policies, that they will not be building a gigacoaster at KI. Intamin on the other hand... Whodey, that's 40 mill per year split between many parks. Between 13 parks, not including waterparks, that's only about 3 mill. Not enough to buy a 25 mill gigacoaster.
  24. Unless the rumors about the GL trains are about Racer and not The Beast. They could modify one to run backwards, but I'm not sure they will.
