  1. In that second pic, that looks like the top of the loop to me. Thoughts?
  2. Is this good news or bad news? Well, as long as he doesn't bring the grim reaper, you should be good to go.
  3. Sloppy video. I didn't see any really "great" view since it was recorded "Blair Witch Project" style.
  4. ^No way Combat! People are going to send me the money to buy Camden plus extra to completely restore the entire park. Interpreter, I did briefly mention that Camden doesn't have the money to buy or maintain a 1st Gen. Intamin freefall. So, I'm not under any delusions. But, in a dream world where Camden has money to buy and maintain a ride like this, it would be a good installation for a park of its' size. Large rides just wouldn't fit in with Camden.
  5. I agree that KI looks pretty good, but I'd like to see some more from the early to mid eighties. That is when I thought the park looked its' best. I think that IJ:ST would be better located at AZ and Son of Beast should have been built in another area. Not sure if there was room anywhere else, but it's a thought.
  6. I agree dude! I love Demon Drop. Never even got to ride it when it was popular. Camden Park could use a ride like this. Unfortunately, if parts are hard to come by and CP has no money anyway, this is not feasible, but fun to dream about.
  7. Speak for yourself, Avatar. Ronny! Get out there and take those pics! No matter what!
  8. I'm going with CoastersRZ on this one. Whatever site prep work has or will be done, no one can see it anyway. So, only that park knows whether or not site work has been done or not.
  9. Even if you are right, I doubt I'll think about you. I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't know you. Besides which, a crane only indicates that work is taking place, nothing else. What that work might be, we just don't know.
  10. Ragerunner, the definition of a family ride is not easily cut and dry. First, back in the 70's, when The Beast first opened, my grandfather, whom was in his 60's, rode and loved The Beast. He was not the only older person riding that coaster either. So, wouldn't The Beast in fact be a family ride since I was pretty young, around 8, riding that coaster and my grandfather was in his 60's and there were those riding between those ages? So, to me, The Beast is and always will be a family attraction.
  11. Sounds pretty good to me, Hauntguy!
  12. May I ask, how you know this, Cy?
  13. Cy, are you an employee of KI or CF? If not, then why not tell?
  14. I think that there is a lot that you are not seeing. Maybe due to it being undergound...don't really know. According to RCDB, it is a two and a half minute ride.
  15. ^Well, what changes are they?
  16. I enjoyed the Cornstalkers as well. They scared me pretty good. The Undertaker must stay. I will protest if they don't use him next year. And, it wasn't even because he scared me good. It was just his great evil laugh. I give him a lot of credit for a great evil laugh. I have heard many people try and just don't pull it off. Heck, I've tried and failed at it myself.

    ^There was construction at GL?

^That's cool. It's just that over the last couple of years, you can never tell when it will be working. I noticed that CP's works almost all of the time. Maybe CF can correct the problem or maybe add more web cams to KI. Hopefully, we'll see future construction projects like CP does.

I knew of it. However, I wasn't sure if it is even working or not. Seems to be up and down all the time (pun intended).
  20. ^Agreed. Fact of the matter is, I rarely really "hear" the games people because I generally tune them out. This is the best option if you ask me.
  21. ^Something about one of the break fins was heavily damaged causing damage to the train itself. Someone else probably knows all of the details.
