  1. I was very surprised to hear that The Racer will be open for WinterFest this year as well as Mystic Timbers and Flight of Fear. My question is what rides would you like to see open during WinterFest in the future; honestly I would love it if somehow WindSeeker or The Beast would be open during WinterFest, but what do all of you think?
  2. Racer at WinterFest? That's awesome! I NEVER thought Kings Island would have that as a ride option!
  3. I like the DC idea I can totally see a Batman themed show especially with the Six Flags merger!
  4. I was told that people used to spit on the glass in PT, and I also heard that it would constantly break down as well as the animatronics so that doesn't surprise me.
  5. If Kings Island brought back the 3-D Action Theater, in what ways would you change it or would you like it as it was? For me since they had two screens, I'd say every year on one screen have a new 3-D show and on the other screen bring back a show from the past like one year they can have the Days Of Thunder year maybe SpongeBob or James Bond and so forth. As for a new movie maybe something along the lines as 3-D tour around Kings Island or something to do with Outer Space like the theming in Area 72, I would also like them to bring back the moving seats but that's just me brainstorming ideas, what do you think?
  6. In my opinion the best and most unique flat ride at Kings Island has gotta be Sol Spin in my opinion, I just wish the seats were a little bit more comfortable for the bigger riders like myself, but a close second for best Kings Island flat ride would be WindSeeker followed by Antique Autos.
  7. Waiting in line for Mystic Timbers: Random guest to me "I hear a rumor that they are taking Son of Beasts old wooden loop and putting it in the middle of Mystic Timbers." My reaction: These things that guests say...
  8. I remember the Dinosaurs Alive! Honestly my family & I didn't really care for it too much it being a paid attraction, I guess we expected a little more. I do however remember the Dinosaur 3-D movie that was at Action Theater, but even that could have been improved since they removed the Action seats from previous attractions. Honestly I am curious whatever happend to those giant Dinosaur animatronics? Possibly they got scrapped or sold. But honestly I do believe that land still vacant but maybe a smal flat ride in the future perhaps?
  9. I would definitely be happy with a Giga Dive Coaster! As for The Beast 2.0., let's leave The Beast as it is!
  10. It seems like a lot of people at this time were excited for the Scooby-Doo ride and not many people seemed sad about Phantom Theater leaving.
  11. I wonder why Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point wasn't on the list...
  12. I recently bought this magnet on Ebay! I loved when Scooby-Doo was at Kings Island, this says 2008 so it was during the Cedar Fair era because Scooby-Doo would be removed entirely in 2010!
  13. There have been a lot of Souvenirs at Kings Island over the year so I decided to make a thread so you can show everyone which Kings Island Souvenirs you have obtained! This shall be fun!
  14. Even on the busiest days, it seems like WindSeeker is a walk on, I've noticed this at Kings Island as well as Cedar Point. I'm a big fan of WindSeeker (well when it's actually running ) I'm curious if throughout the years, the popularity of the ride has gone down, I still like it especially the night rides, I'm hoping Cedar Fair keeps all their WindSeekers, hopefully I'm not overthinking this, but what do all of you think?
  15. Doesn't Flags own Hanna-Barbera as well? If so I wouldn't mind going back to Scooby-Doo.
  16. I agree, it seems like a lazy concept, a screen just seems very uncreative, hopefully they don't go this way.
  17. Someone posted this on Facebook saying Kings Island is sending out surveys through emails which can be confirmed by several other people, one of the surveys being a new dark ride themed to the Peanuts in which is an interactive shooting game involving a county fair. My best guess is that they are finally looking to get rid of Boo Blasters because I think they would put it there for obvious reasons. Kings Island is apparently sending these surveys out to see what the park guests want, another one I've seen is an expansion of The Beast. What do you think of these surveys if you have seen them, also what would you think of a Peanuts Themed Dark Ride?
  18. The next coaster to go: Invertigo The next flat ride to go: Congo Falls Next retheme of a ride: Boo Blasters On Boo Hill These are just my opinions!
  19. When I was a kid I vaguely remember staying at a campground in the late 90s/early 2000s where Great Wolf Lodge is currently, I remember it being a Yogi Bear Campground later renamed to Paramount Campground, does anybody else remember this or am I going crazy because I can't find anything about it online, thank you!
  20. I haven't made it to KI yet this year, but does Rivertown still have the bacon cheese fries?
  21. Does anybody else like to search for the toy ducks people leave at Kings Island?
  22. Let's pretend that Kings Island (and other parks) were never purchased by Cedar Fair, and it's 2024, what do you think the park would be like now? What new attractions do you think we would have? Is there anything that Paramount would have kept that Cedar Fair wouldn't have? Let me know your thoughts down below!
  23. I'd say Phantom Theater because they could have just updated the animatronics as time went on, and there wasn't a Copyright on the Phantom Theater characters so they could keep it unlike Scooby-Doo. (Which was still better with that theming than the current Boo Blasters theming in my opinion.)
