Personally for me they were way too loud to the point where it was kind of hard to hear what was going on in the actual ride itself. I remember that way back when it was Scooby-Doo and then the early days of Boo Blasters. But I can see where you're coming from with the effect being ruined. Maybe if the sound effect was a little quieter maybe it would have stayed throughout the entire duration of Boo Blasters. Side note I wonder why the old Scooby-Doo/Boo Blaster Guns weren't included in the auction? 🤔

I think it was funny how they mentioned Boo Blasters in the que! My prediction is somehow Boocifer is the villain in the ride! 🤣

I had been trying to avoid spoilers but I couldnt help myself seeing the pictures today! I absolutely love the theming and it seems like they are putting a lot of effort into this, even more so than when it was Scooby-Doo and even the original PT. Also the animatronics look amazing! I'm glad that Maestro is back in his booth, the only thing I'm hoping for now is that the new ride will be as dark as the original. I love when dark rides are well basically dark, fingers crossed they brought that element back. Nonetheless I am still excited! 😊

I'm not sure either honestly I was trying to figure that out as well, the hands look the same as Shaggy though.

I'm also curious why they didn't action off the original PT props and instead threw most of them away(from what I've heard).... I bet people would have definitely wanted to add them to their KI memorabilia.

I wonder if there was some way to remove the Boo Blaster paint and restore this back to Scooby-Doo & Shaggy? 🤔 I'm not sure if it's possible or not just very curious...

A. honestly it looks like Kings Island is putting a lot of thought into this knowing they made a mistake of removing the original PT. Will it be as good as the original? I think so as well as adding new elements that weren't available in the original PT. I'm really excited! 😀

What do you think the estimated wait times for PT:ON are going to be for the first few month?

Personally I want to see more merchandise come out of this. Plush toys would be awesome! Fingers crossed that we get some hats as well with the PTON logo to add to my hat collection.

The new que area looks AMAZING, I'm glad they went with the new wallpaper. I loved the original PT wallpaper but after so many years it started to look outdated and even at times it started to peel back from the wall. It looks like KI is putting a lot of thought in this me being a big fan of the original ride... it looks like more thought is being put into this ride than the original PT. 😊

When a family of 6 or 7 wanted to get into a cart on Boo Blasters On Boo Hill... and obviously that would be too many people so they told the father that they would need more than one cart. But the father started cussing out the KI employee and making a scene and then dumped his pop cup everywhere (nearly get me). Behavior like that should not be tolerated and should be kicked out immediately. I think about this from time to time.

Just a random thought... what if they made Boocifer a villain in the ride to rival the Maestro? It seems like they are mentioning Boocifer an awful lot, perhaps Boocifer is the reason why all the chaos is happening in PT: ON? Its just a theory...😅

I wonder if the candles will return in the hallway que, I know when PT turned into Scooby-Doo/Boo Blasters; they kept the original Candles exiting the ride. Fingers crossed they are still there. 🤞

Kings Island & Cedar Point. But I do have some merchandise from Disney World still. I still have this picture of when I decided to freeze my 2008 Mickey Mouse toy from when I was a kid! (I'm not sure why I did that...🙃)

I agree, it being the 2020s VS the 1990s, technology is a lot more advanced especially with the screens and the laser guns. I am confident Kings Island will keep PT:ON better maintained than Boo Blasters On Boo Hill.

From 1994-2013 who remembers Action Theater (originally named Paramount Action FX Theater)? I have fond memories riding SpongeBob 3D, a very brief Stan Lee Superhero ride, and even a 3D Dinosaur ride. There are other shows that were shown in a theater such as Days Of Thunder, James Bond, and even a Hanna-Barbera ride. Who else has fun memories of this Kings Island attractions?

At Six Flags Over Georgia they have character meet & greets for the Monster Mansion dark ride, so fingers crossed we get one for Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare as well! 🤞
