Thoughts 2020 2021 2022 Coney Island Pool N Slide Center.
goettablitz replied to westcoaster's topic in Coney Island Central
My employer has their company picnic at Coney. We get a shelter and unlimited ride wrist bands. A sunlight pool upgrade was offered a few years ago and no one wanted to do it. Since this announcement the higher ups have already started looking for a new picnic venue. Makes me wonder if other companies feel the same. -
Does the Banshee rattle bother you?
goettablitz replied to ThrillKingsFitzy's topic in Kings Island
I do like how Banshee has a more unique layout than the other inverts. I love how it uses the terrain and drops off the hill after the zero g roll. -
Does the Banshee rattle bother you?
goettablitz replied to ThrillKingsFitzy's topic in Kings Island
I find the rattle to be very uncomfortable and annoying at the same time. It is the newest B&M invert in the country and should not feel the way it does. I have ridden most of the other B&M inverts in the US and find none of them to be as uncomfortable, not even close. I don't know if it is a design or maintenance issue but it needs to be addressed. -
Kings Dominion 2020
goettablitz replied to Maverick44's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
LOL, I dunno what is replacing the other large attraction that met its untimely demise recently? Honestly if KD was my home park i would be super mad. -
I could see KI adding a wing and dive coaster from B&M in the future. B&M could also come out with a new type of coaster. As much as I like B&M rides I also like variety. I would like to see other coaser manufacturers at KI in the future. Like Gerslauer, Mach, RMC and although unlikely Intamin.

Dont forget me!!!! Thanks.

What's non-authentic about building a giga? What does "non-authentic" even mean? There are by far more RMC coasters out there than Giga coasters......

Can't wait to go try Kentuky Flyer. Thanks for the trip report.

Am i the only one looking at the photos of the clearning and thinking that the new ride could very well jump over the FOF launch tunnel into the field between FOF, Adventure Express and Racer?

Now if only they served beer out the window that this is over. If memory serves this was an Auntie Annes last year? I would love it if you could get some good German Bier and some pretzels and bier cheese there!

Where the majic of the movies meets the thrill of a lifetime! oh wait...

Kennywood has some great corndogs. And they make them right in the window where they can be seen in all their glory!

Fresh deep fried corn dogs anyone?

Copperhead Strike Reviews
goettablitz replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
How is the launch on the ride? Ive heard that Mach launches are pretty unimpressive? What about the boost in the middle of the ride? -
While I would be surprised if a madhouse made an appearance at Kings Island, Vekoma seems to be making quite a come back. They were recently purchased by S&S and have some pretty exciting looking new coaster projects going on in Europe and Asia as well as new trains. It looks like they are a very different company now than they were when Invertigo, Firehawk and Flying Ace Aerial Chase were installed. Lech in Poland looks pretty awesome don't you think?

New Restaurant - Miami River Brewhouse (Replaces Reds)

Sounds like cool concept. And i really like how the name seems to tie it in with Mystic Timbers potentially. This is really shaping up to be a pretty exciting season! LET IT BEGIN! -
What's your opinion about Haunt's scarezone Toxic Wasteland?
goettablitz replied to Joe Wastelander's topic in Kings Island
Not good. It seemed haphazardly thrown together and it was pretty ovbious where the jump scares were gonna come from. -
Seeing the Sea World and Busch Gardens parks bouncing back makes me so happy. BGT is one of my most favorite parks!
-
This has me really excited! I-street is the first impression a guest has when walking through the gates. I already thought it looked good but there is always room for improvement. On my personal bucket list of improvements that I hoped would come to KI was new fountains with choreographed shows. I thought that at the end of the day the fountains could also be choreographed with the fireworks. Very excited for this!

Sea World San Diego 2020
goettablitz replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
2020 will certainly be an exciting year for the Sea World / Busch parks. Every park is getting a new major coaster, Busch Gardens Tampa is getting RMC Gwazi, Busch Gardens Williamsburg is getting a new Intamin launch coaster, Sea World Orlando what looks to be a Wave Breaker coaster, Sea World San Antonio a GCI and now a B&M Dive for Sea World San Diego. Exciting year but I just hope they are not over extending themselves in the same way Six Flags did in the early 2000s. -
I would love for Racer and Beast to receive Millennium Flyers but I doubt that would ever happen
-
Seemed like a cool concept. I hope the poor weather does not deter the park from doing it again next year.

Rides like Surf Dog and the new Skyline rides like the Skywarp and Skywarp horizon definately blur the line between coaster and flat ride. Many enthusiasts look to rcdb to decide if it couts or not.

goettablitz replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I voted for the Harry Potter coaster but i am very curious to see how these 2 nes S&S coasters do (Steel Curtain and Maxx Force).
