I think the coaster itself would be fun, but I'd worry about capacity. Also, no bright lighting package there. I think a better spot would be at the front of the park where Invertigo is. Hangtime replaced a boomerang.

It seemed that they were going to invest in Kings Dominion for the long term and elevate it back to a top tier park. That now seems to not be the case. Is it the new world's of fun?

I'd guess this is one or both shoppes at the front gate. If they are spending almost half a million dollars, it sounds like significant reno. Truthfully, they need to so this to Germany and Italy. Switzerland has been redone with Grain and Grill and Starbux, Spain has been redone with Sweet Spot, France had a light remodel with The French (Cajun) Corner Bar and Bistro and Worlds Greatest Funnel Cakes.

My theory is that maybe they wanted to try it at Kings Island and see the reaction. Then move it to the other parks. But Paramount happened. As for the present, it's an IP that Six Flags owns. Ki has the nostalgia factor that other parks don't, but if it were put in, I'm sure people would love it. Remember, when Phantom Theater was put in, it was replacing two rides that generations grew up with. So it has to overcome those nostalgia pieces. It's still beloved by many this day. I'm sure it would repeat at other parks.

Six Flags has said this is a 2026 project. And anonymous source says that Kings Island is in touch with Vekoma about this ride. Strike one: anonymous. Strike two: the project will be opening in approximately 18 months, 20 if on the legacy Six Flags timeline. Strike three: in touch with...seems like contracts with designer, engineering firm, architectural firm, landscape firm, painting firm, excavation firm etc all would all be finalized at this point. Especially the designer of this attraction. There are less than 600 days to get this done. " In touch" seems like it wouldn't meet these demands.
