  1. They've also cancelled several Oktoberfest events this year.
  2. They have never, in my memory, listed any reason for delays other than "waiting on a part." They would risk alienating their customer base with political inferences, which they don't need. As far as the bankruptcy, I personally don't see why in the world the federal government would take partial ownership in six flags as they did the two automotive companies. Much much smaller industry and much less of a full time, benefited union type employment base.
  3. Let's give the KI landscape team a shout out! From the webcam, the bed in front of The Royal Fountain has looked great all season. The elephant ears they recently put out look awesome in my opinion.
  4. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Ego98w3X3/ Snoopy posted this today.
  5. Also, smoked weed. Especially Kentons Cove Keelboat Canal!
  6. They started not washing the walkways in '23 as part of the first year of budget cuts. I think they did it every three or four nights. It was really noticeable during the parade when parents would often remark about how dirty the park has become. Hopefully they are doing it at least once a week this season.
  7. Comment: Good thing or bad thing?: https://investors.sixflags.com/news/press-releases/press-release-details/2025/Six-Flags-Announces-CEO-Succession-Plan/default.aspx

  9. I was impressed too. Seems it took them longer in previous years. Since this is probably the last Grande Carnival, I wonder if they just brought in dumpsters and threw it all away?
  10. So now we will have 4 stunt coasters in the chain! So glad they are using legacy CF IP!
  11. Sounds like Security is either cut to the synergetic bone or they just don't care. Or are no longer empowered to do anything.
  12. It's tragic that you have never experienced Rainbo bread! Also, don't forget about Fast Lane presented by McClutchy Ford, lawn care by Trugreen Chemlawn, and the different car dealers who would have car displays parked on the Area Formerly Known as Coney Mall.
  13. I'm in the boat of waiting and not getting into the psychological frame of " buy now ". Before all of this I was going to get a season pass ( I didn't renew for this year, first time in 11 years) , but now that the uncertainty is enhanced worse than ever, I'm waiting. If there is no clarity by the end of the month, I'll wait to make my decision, knowing that the cost goes up over time. I'm willing to take that risk...if it's not worth the uncertainty, I just won't be a Six Flags passholder next year as well.
  14. I mean, I don't agree, but actual cost vs potential cost is very minute. If only they had park ambassadors to roam around and find people who've had a bad experience and turn it into a good experience with something like a free ice cream. Potential customer for life. ( I don't refer to them as guests anymore as the prevalent attitude across the chain seems to be revenue generators. As a guest, it was revenue generator too, but it was packaged much better when guest experience was more top of the mind)
  15. Facebook posts are now spreading that Six Flags America has canceled Fright Fest and will have boo fest only. I saw it in the SFA connoisseur group.
  16. I can't remember the number, but they are basically wanting to bolster the attendance at Magic Mountain. Id conjecture that is why the pass is cheaper there. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, but if they drastically increase pass sales at MM, they can tout this during a future earnings report.
  17. If this was 2019, I' d say that might be something they would consider in the long range planning. Now, if the park emerges from the dark time it's in, I could be something that would be feasible after 2030 or so, unless ki becomes part of another brand that is flush with capital. As far as the ride being on International Street or in kiddie land, I don't think it makes much practical difference to the average customer. Cohesion wise, it would be great if it could is the IP of kiddie world, currently Peanuts.
  18. I'm not sure about C Wland or KD, but Kings Island 's Boo Blasters is actually part of International Street, I have been told.
  19. Thanks for the correction. I also forgot a couple of others:
  20. BREAKING NEWS!!!!!: Six Flags Entertainment Company to debut a worlds first record breaking family attraction at Kings Island: Bankruptcy: The Ride! This thrilling yet depressing attraction will spin in a downward spiral with record breaking speed! Yet there will be scene stops that pay homage to what got the famed entertainment corporation to this point: Messy Kitchen Corner, Trash Tunnel, Broken Promise Bridge, No Caring Closet, and Removed Rides Room. These scenes will rove and spread, overseen by Big DZ, Prince BW, and Greedy Sal. Construction is set to begin in July 2027 in the area formerly occupied by The Vortex roller coaster.
  21. Evidently Great Adventure has lost holiday in the park as well. Hearing Oktoberfest is cancelled as well. I think they are now purposely making decisions that would indicate they want bankruptcy.
  22. Really gonna boost up those attendance numbers in those southern parks.
  23. Thanks for the clarification!
