  1. No wild mouse this year. I really don't see them putting on in though ever. Just doesn't seem PKI-ish to me.
  2. Plus they just put pictures up from thursday, they haven't been able to do much more with the weather.
  3. The has already been mentioned in another thread. Please check for that in the other Delirium related threads before making a new one.
  4. Yeah other companies make flyers but the vekoma flyer has proved itself oh so worthy. You probably won't see many more of them unless vekoma really re-engineers them and can give the same level product as b&m.
  5. Just because they have never built a B&M doesn't mean they never will. The other Paramount Parks have B&M rides. Its only a matter of time before KI does as well.
  6. Not to start a way, but yeah they do need to change the programming through out the year. For those of use who work in locations where you are at most 30ft from that TV all day (Wings, Oktoberfest/Bubba back bar, Festhaus.....) we see the same thing (and hear it too) multiple times a day, everyday. It gets old really quick with us.
  7. No the queue house will not stay that ugly black, that is like tar paper waterproofing crap and siding or whatnot will be put up over it. Maybe brick or something, I'm sure they'll do a nice job with it. Heck it may even turn out blue/yellow/red like the ride and everything else in Action Zone.
  8. The audience can watch from a screen put up in timber wolf or something.
  9. Yeah a Raging Bull type ride would be nice, that coaster rocks. Again with me wanting an invert, I would love a nice smaller custom invert that puts Talon in a run for its money. Cause I'm sure Kings Island wouldn't crap out and not go the extra to get a custom design and not some cookie cutter clone.
  10. Well shaggy you have to remember paramount aparently has a tie with survivor. Last year or the year before (maybe both) they had people from the show come and talk to people in the park. We had a special dinner up in the international restruant as well. Then two or three seasons ago, while visint Carowinds, that was one of their audience participation shows. Survivor. They had people sign up before the shows and they would make them do little things and would win like a shirt or something. They had to have had the rights to the show or a link somewhere becuase they were using the logo and everything. Plus who ever said it had to be in an amphatheatre. Why not put it out in the middle of the woods back by The Beast somewhere. They can make a little camp fire and what not and have trains fly by every so often with people screaming their heads off. It would be really cool. I can definetly see it happening.
  11. Yeah, help promote the ride.
  12. Surivivor on Tomb Raider. Make them marathon until someone pukes.
  13. The trams that are still in service through out the year stay parked out in the parking lot. No they don't always use all of them every day, but I'm sure they use them all on Saturdays and bring a friend free days. Yeah there used to be some more trams, but since they are all 30 some years old now, some of the more run down ones have gone "out of service" and are no longer used. They are still around but in hiding. I'm sure if they felt the need for more shuttles (which I think one or two more wouldn't hurt) then they would fix them up or buy some new ones.
  14. Sorry, no hints. Just saying I can't give you pictures of the rides from inside the park because I work for them and it violates park policy.
  15. Oh, thats only the start of my park hopping fun this summer.
  16. Doesn't mean they won't burn out during the first day they are used. Thus leaving burnt out bulbs for the rest of the season.
  17. There is no view from Wings. That has all grown up with trees and brush, you can not see across that lake during the summer. Can't move anything easily behind TR. Why? Imagine walking along the street and then you fall down a man hole. That is just about what happens back there, just not as steep and sudden. Plus then you have all the traffic from The Beast and TR right there in an already crowded spot during peak areas. Not saying they can't build anything back there but it will be difficult.
  18. PKIU can have new pictures tomorrow if you really want. I'll just drive past the park, take a picture of snow melting. It will be just as exciting as any picture of the outside of the park. Nothing is visible from outside, and what is visible inside, well I'm not allowed to share that until Mr. Siebert says go ahead.
  19. Have you ever been on Flight of Fear or back to see the helicopters? You went under a coaster there. Have you ever been in the Action FX theatres, you went under racer yet again to get there. How about Son of Beast, you walk under the turn around from the brakes to get into the station or Face/Off, cause that goes under the track as well. They can go over paths if they want to, they can go under. Though yeah, it is usually easier to design a ride that simply doesn't cross anything cause it is cheaper and takes less engineering.
  20. I want an enterprise back in the park. I'm sure those things are much more reliable now a days. If not then Huss or whoever needs to do some more engineering to make them better so KI will buy another one.
  21. I'm excited and those 58 days will fly by for me. I've only got 15 more days until I leave for LA for Knott's Coaster Solace, and SFMM. Then when I get back only a few more weeks until my spring break road trip from Cincy, to Carowinds, to SF over Georgia, to Islands of Adventure, Sea World and Busch Gardens. Then Kentucky Kingdom opens the following week. I'm set to go from now until KI opens.
  22. Yeah well, I was the one lost on the first day because I was told I worked at Oscars. I asked my sis where it was (she worked in the park the year before) and she told me "go through the Ivy tunnel.... la la la" Well lo and behold, they took that stupid tunnel half way out in '98 and put a wall up at the other end. I was so lost and couldn't find Oscars, eventually some security guards walked by and brought me in and embarassed me more by telling everyone I was wondering the park lost.
  23. I don't think there really would be one at the first big drop. I can see maybe from like the drop out of the station to the turn into the lift hill, and around the second helix. Maybe not even a full tunnel around the second helix but maybe extend the support structure out so that it gives more head choppers as you fly into and through it.
  24. I was thinking just hop in at the train and just walk down the tracks. Or go in the back way from water works through the picnic grove, again crossing the tracks.
