WWC or CF
If its the way I'm thinking, there really isn't a path, it just happens that something else go back there and you can walk along it to get there.

Changes for 2003!
I would love for them to add some huge flood lights on the side of racer to light up that white wood at night. That would look cool.

What kind of Coaster should PKI build next?
Why would they care about if it is taller than Millenium Force and the other if its not going to be taller than Top Thrill Dragster. I don't konw if I can really see a 300ft-er in the park anywhere. I can see going a little taller than SOB but probably not too much taller. I'm still hoping for that nice B&M invert to take the place of the unused Antique Car side and the lake/land opposite it.

Nothing new from the outside or else I would have posted them by now. I was hoping for more from Mr. Siebert on the PKI website but so far nothing. I'm sure we will see some new stuff here soon, give it time. Edit- Sorry the only thing new from the outside is that you can see the bright yellow insulation panels for Scooby Doo's new castle entrance. Drove past the park today and it is definetly noticable through the trees from the street.

When is pass night
Well the park is open Friday April 11th from 5-10, and Friday April 18th from 10-8. The 11th is not listed on the parks website cause its for season pass holders only. The 18th is open all day for some odd reason, and listed both online and on the employee calendar so I don't know what that date is for. The park is also open May 9th from 10-7, again this is not listed on the parks website so I don't know what they are open for. The park is then open again May 16th from 10-10 and May 21st (my 21st birthday) from 10-6. Non of these dates are listed on the website thus are private events. The 21st and 16th are most likely Math & Science days/graduate night (on the 16th) but I don't know what the other ones are for.

Sorry, but I just had to throw this in. Not everything skrinks when cold and expand when hot. Look at water. It expands when it freezes, thus opposite "almost" everything else on earth.

Things I would like to know...
Yeah, you heard right, average people. Though with the accidents on rides due to the restraints and the people's "large" size (ie perilous plunge 300lb woman), I thought I heard somewhere that parks are going to have to change out some restraints on rides to "big people" restraints so they are both safe and comfortable.

When is pass night
Yup, you are correct. April 11th, from 5-10 just for season pass holders.

They're putting in a Sears? Its going to be a mighty small shopping area then. PPH numbers will suck for that place.

All of those footers? Only 4. Footers are the cheapest part, plus being only a test they don't need to attach it as well as they would for real use, though I don't know.

Actually the ride isn't "finished" so to say. There is still stuff to do. Not everything is complete yet. The video they link to is again from Germany before it was shipped here.

Yup, its for the retractable floor.

New Paramount Logo
The proof, as in the artist drawing or printer's drawing with color swatches and what not. Not just someone flashing it at the person for $75.

New Paramount Logo
Well the new logo was revealed during EastCoaster event on Saturday. A short review is on UltimateRollerCoaster.com. Aparently they auctioned off the proof of the new logo during the event and it went for over $75.

Well Delirium isn't a car. It doesn't have a gas powered engine. Just an electrical one which cold doesn't really affect cause you don't have pistons running up and down, metal scraping against metal at high rpms. Its completely different things.

Delirium Movie
Also, in the Delirium movie it definetly looks like Huss's testing ground. I doubt they would just have that open space to put up Delirium but not use it for anything else.

Things I would like to know...
If you notice the trees near SOB are tall. Its just that there are only like 3 of them. They have to plant trees before they can get tall. I never had any problems with the SOB trains, restraint-wise. Though I hear everyone else complain about them. I just have problems when sitting above the wheels getting bounced around a lot.

Umm, the paint and primer on that thing is protecting the steel. You have no worries about it being affected by the snow and ice that we have had. All the mechanical equipment is concealed and won't be bothered.

Coaster companies rarely build a full scale model of the ride or build the ride and test it before it is sent out. Xcelerator was tested in Europe before being built in America, but they only built the launch and a brake run. Nothing more. There are photos on other sites that prove this, a simple search online will find them. Flats are another question since they are much smaller and easier to install, hence the reason most are in fairs and are transportable. Only one way to find out. Wait until the chat with Jeff Siebert is rescheduled and ask him if he knows.

The brake line rupturing could just have been caused by anything. Maybe the line was damaged while they disassembled the ride in germany or while shipping and it was internal thus no one saw it until it ruptured. Or it was just a faulty line to begin with and was only a matter of time. There are many reasons for that, and none of them would prove that they didn't assemble it before shipping.

Info On 3rd Ride
Do you know that HUSS made those rides giant just for KI or that they were already offered and KI bought them. Every new ride has its bugs. Skylab was just a maintance issue that the park didn't want to deal with. I'm hoping one day they will see that they got better and will buy a new skylab.

I went and saw Delirium in all its glory today while at the park. Its just about finished. The control building just needs to have the exterior put on and its ready to go. There was a cherry picker up at the motor when I got there and the one side was covered in a big tarp. They were probably hooking up the electric or something. The thing everyone has been unsure about... the floor. Aparently the base of the ring is partially in the floor. The floor will lower and each of the 6 or 8 (not sure if it was an octagon or hexagon shape) sections will split and rotate in, thus slanting down. One of those sections has yet to be put in yet so I could see in. It seems they will start testing it sometime this week. The fountain base (the concrete) is all there under a huge tarp to protect it from the weather. All the fountain tubs (the 5 or 6 bases that rise up) are all off being painted and remade to look new. All the lights were removed and waiting nearby to be replaced. Oh, and the second train on Top Gun will return this season. That ride is not going anywhere for a while. I saw it too.

Pretty much all flat rides are assembled and tested before they are shipped. At least they are when they are the first of their kind.
