Kings Island is still a part of Warren County, they just used to be in Deerfield Township. The park was annexed to the City of Mason, which has a building department.

The sign was gone April 14, which was Dry Run Day for associates. The sign's footings were still in the ground. The first time I came as a guest was on May 3, and the footings for the sign were totally gone.

Does anyone have a recording of this? “World” and “Royal” can sound very similar, especially when it’s said over an outdoor speaker obscured by background noise (people talking, rides, etc.).

R & R Designs is still around. It would be great if they could do a large Adventure Express refurbishment a la the Calico Mine Ride renovation at Knott's.

We have gotten worse over the years but major steps are being taken. Mystic Timbers, Flight of Fear queue lighting effects, Festhaus glockenspiel and the International Street renovation are prime examples of this. Mike Koontz is making this a big goal to have a larger focus on theming.

I work at Emporium. While I don't have the sales figures, based off my experience we sell a lot more of these than you would think.

The Eiffel Tower at Kings Island stands 314 feet tall. The three observation decks are at 50 feet, 265 feet, and 275 feet.

I am an enthusiast (or rather, an "enthusist," as you say), and I enjoy Diamondback immensely. Generally speaking, I think a lot of people on this website as a whole need to stop making sweeping generalizations like the one I quoted.

I believe that this is absolutely an improvement. It already looks very good and I can't wait to see the final result. The water shoots much higher and there are many more nozzles than before.

I don't know about the loop, but the trains are not the same design as Nighthawk. Kings Island did send over other parts to Carowinds, though.

It’s very strange IMO that the building being built in the woods right now is not on the leaked plan. Could this have been a preliminary design and not the final one?

I’m fine with the height. I was honestly expecting it to not be as tall or taller than Fury. I think the real tragedy is the length. With The Beast and Banshee, I was sure that we would at least be getting the longest giga, especially with all the land available. I really hope that it is not as short as the layout suggests.
