The menus and prices can't be geo locked on the app when they don't exist there :P

Even the old Six Flags app has some of the menus for some of their parks on it. If we're getting more of the same when this new app comes out, I wouldn't be shocked to see that feature removed.

Hahaha fair. I assumed it was just locked. It never occurred to me that the menu just wouldn’t exist for someone in the park. (In fairness, when I’m there I just eat what’s close or what someone in here recommends)

A case of an employee saying the darnest thing... Around 1pm, on a rather busy day, a deer was running through the park, close to where Diamondback is now. A security officer happened to see this, ke

"I'm reporting you to the MIB" ~ someone in response to one of Krazeb's lines (IIRC, "it's time for you to visit ours") on FoF, 2004

Also, on Face/Off, I heard someone scream "THE SKY HAD A BABY!" a la SpongeBob.

And on Congo Falls, I heard a guy scream about his Nike Air Flightposites being ruined from after the drop to when we disembarked.

Less said and more done. Some kid just peed on the bushes while we are in line at Mystic Timbers.

If you gotta go you gotta go I guess :P

Sitting on the brake run of Twisted Timbers:

"...that was insanely rough."

"Yeah. That really beat me up!"

Last week as we ascend the second chain lift on The Beast. The people behind me said....

Person 1:  "We are going up another lift."

(As the helix comes into view) Person 2: "Oh yeah, this is the triple spin."

Person 1: "Oh, yeah!"

I chucked to myself, but when we hit the brake run he said it again. Person 2: "That triple spin is so intense."

This is my favorite thing I've ever heard at the park.

There was a group of young boys in line for DB. They were all just chilling in the lower switchbacks, but then one of them pointed to the lift hill, and proudly proclaimed...

"See that hill? That's 80 feet tall."

He then proceeded to tell his buddies that Mystic was 20 feet tall...

Speaking of The Beast I've had one guest say "Yeah they removed the loop from Son of Beast and added it to The Beast!" That was quite a few years ago though...

Random guy at Victoria's Pizza at KD after a sudden dinner rush on the 4th:

"Hey guys, there's no ice or Coke at any of these fountains, just so you know. I can't believe they let that happen!"

In line for Beast:

"This is probably their giga coaster. I can tell!"

A few moments later...

"Is this the ride that goes straight down into a tunnel?"

Four teenage girls, sitting in row 8, were about to be dispatched on Banshee. They had waited for about 15 minutes in line, and then, right before the drive tires powered on, they asked one of the restraint-checkers...

"Does this ride go upside down?"

The response was even more funny:

"Yeah, 8 times, in fact!"

Talking about KI outside of the park:

"You know The Racer, right?"

"Yep. It was relocated from LeSourdville Lake. I rode it there!"

Two teenagers in the outdoor part of the FOF queue:

"Is this a new ride?"

Same people, in the hangar this time:

"Is that a real alien?"

GPs in line for FOF strike back! Group of four, waiting for rows 2 and 3...

"This ride goes upside down."

"No, it can't."

"Why? How'd you know?"

"The lapbars. Rides with lapbars can't invert..."

Four teens getting off Beast while talking to those about to board:

"Bro, don't ride this. It goes upside down."

"Yeah. 18 bolts fell out.*"

*82,480 bolts and washers make up the ride. I don't think losing 18 is going to do anything...

At CP in line for SteVe:

"I don't see why they have all this dang metal detection."

"It's probably 'cause the ride is steel."

Same group, ten mins later...

"They're running two cars here. Most rides don't do that."

Anton Schwarzkopf would beg to differ!

In line at Siren's Curse up at CP.

Guy 1: Son of Beast was so big, but only lasted 3 years and they took it out

Guy 3: I can't believe it.

I wanted to tell Guy 2, "don't your friend is full of baloney." I resisted.

^I mean, there's a grain of truth given all the hassle it took to keep SOB running, and even then, it was still dangerous given Paramount's approaches to 'fixing' it.

I recently joined a new (to me) KI Facebook group and it is full of some wild theories. Ideas not based anywhere near the current reality run rampant and many things with circumstantial evidence are taken as 100% fact. It's harmless, but I found it interesting to see what's said in there. I like to see what people are talking about and this has been a funny way to see more.

Up at Cedar Point last weekend, we were riding the train going past the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. The guy in front of us looks over at the water next to us, and looks up and asks the guy next to him, "Did you see that? I just saw an alligator in the water?" He as 100% serious.

Lol that is especially funny because I've heard the exact same thing when someone said it about Iron Dragon, but I have seen a turtle in there before.

What group? I'm in quite a few KI groups so either I'm not in that one or I just don't pay enough attention to it :P

I believe it's "Kings Island Underground (Uncensored)" on Facebook. I was hesitant to name it in my initial post since some on here may be active on there, but like I said, it seems to be a pretty harmless group.

Wow, I don't think I've heard a crazier one than that!
