Seems to me that the same people who were smart enough to track down a trademark filing could look on public records no further than in Warren County to see what zoning permits have been applied for/filed? Construction has obviously started, so its been filed somewhere... Go to the courthouse, attend a zoning hearing (they're public), or even scope out your good friend- the internet.

Going back to bed now.

What street does Kings Island use for it's zoning permits? From what I can see it looks like they stopped using Kings Island Dr. after 1997.

Just a matter at this point of when they make the announcement...since you can plainly see the progress being made. From what I saw last night, they have progressed quite a bit from last week.

Thats a great diagram. That looks spot on. But dont you think it would make more sense to flip where the station and the train house thing would be. Just so its easier to get in line and stuff.

And somebidy mentioned how this could be a Dinosaurs Alive type thing . They didnt start teasing us with that until like two months before the season started.This is really early to start a project. I'm not saying it's a coaster. (even though I think it is), it's just something really big.

I'm really excited for this project. I think it's very clear that it is a roller coaster, and that it will be very massive, since construction is starting this early. I wish they would point a webcam at this area.

I spent a chunk of time this morning looking at Gatekeepers construction pics. These footers look very similar to keepers. But that's not saying much. Hopefully next weekend we have some real progress.. I will be there. Lol

Was up in the tower later last night, pictures don't really do justice to how much work has been done, land cleared beyond sob. Pure speculation, and I think it's contradictory to what theyve said, but it wouldnt surprise me to see a hotel at the far back of the park as part of the long term expansion

I haven't looked on the Warren County sites myself, but remember that just about every detail about Diamondback was in digital print long before the announcement was made. Back in 2004, necessary operating permits were applied for long in advance for a certain Christmas themed event.

Here'sa question, is Kings Island in Mason or Deerfield twp?

He didn't tell me directly. He was not like "Hey Ethan, Son of Beast is being torn down!"

No, he was talking to my grandma last year in the middle of July about how his day was. He talked about the up coming house inspections and said some guy called his office for demolition permits for a coaster at Kings Island.

My uncle could care less about what goes on at Kings Island and in all likelihood he wouldn't purposely tell me of the whereabouts of the park.

During or after the line/exit, there will be a mini haunt that will be 24/7, which will probably have animontronics, and or possibly a haunted house which you go through on ride, with of course a prop to scare you, in example Exp. Eve. in Animal Kingdom.

Would the name of the company filing for permits be under Cedar Fair, LP db as Kings Island with the corporate address being used? As for the location, Kings Island is located within the city of Mason and using Kings Island, Oh 45034 as the mailing address.

Here's a picture of Leviathan in early construction stages and the footers look very very similar to the footers of the ones that KI are building. Hmmmm...

Those are round. The ones at ki are square so are the ones for wild eagle and gate keeper. Now I don't know why the shape would make a difference I'm just pointing it out..
