Diamondback2112 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 During my trip today I noticed the fences have in fact been moved closer, and new signage along with it. I could not get a good view through the fence so I decided to ride AE to get a better view. Noticed large circular rebar down in the valley, and construction is going at a much quicker pace lately, so it looks as if we are about to see where the next stage of construction leads us. I'm guessing we should know a lot more about the layout within the next 30 days.

Every single dip-n-dots guy seems to know for a fact that we will be getting a B&M coaster that will break records. Ride ops say a Leviathan type giga, and others say another wing coaster. Not sure who I trust more. It is funny though, that they know more about our new ride than we do. 1

Not sure who I trust more. It is funny though, that they know more about our new ride than we do. That would be awesome if that is in fact true. KI needs another record breaker to help everyone forget about SOB and move on.

If you do, please clue me in because I don't, but if I remember correctly (and sometimes I don't) Gatekeeper track wasn't manufactured at this time last year.

homestar92 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 It's worth noting that if we do indeed get an invert, then it is quite possible KI will have successfully clenched 3 of my top 5 spots in my favorite Steel coasters list. Which, as it happens right now are Vortex, Magnum XL-200, Gatekeeper, Flight of Fear, and Afterburn. I could see a nice invert pushing Afterburn out of that list. Though Raptor failed to do so. We shall see.

Not individual houses, but they've apparently trademarked "Amusement Dark" as a potential new slogan for the Cedar Fair Haunts.

Diamondback96 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I think I've figured out what's going in. It's an inverted looping launched flying wooden giga coaster made by Intamin with green steel frames for the inversions with Diamondback-style trains and themed to Scooby-Doo. 3
