During my trip today I noticed the fences have in fact been moved closer, and new signage along with it. I could not get a good view through the fence so I decided to ride AE to get a better view. Noticed large circular rebar down in the valley, and construction is going at a much quicker pace lately, so it looks as if we are about to see where the next stage of construction leads us. I'm guessing we should know a lot more about the layout within the next 30 days.

Well, exclusive news from Cedar Point. Every single dip-n-dots guy seems to know for a fact that we will be getting a B&M coaster that will break records. Ride ops say a Leviathan type giga, and others say another wing coaster.

Not sure who I trust more. It is funny though, that they know more about our new ride than we do.

^^ That is great. Now we just need someone to mention it again and see how he replies.

The former SOB station will be used for a Haunt attraction this year and beyond.

Has anyone toyed around with the possibility that Banshee may be used as a Haunt name? Perhaps Banshee will replace Massacre Manor.

They don't usually trademark their Haunts. As a matter of fact, I don't think a single one is trademarked.

That would be awesome if that is in fact true. KI needs another record breaker to help everyone forget about SOB and move on.

It is almost july. There is no new b&m track at the factory. Its pointing to a intamin.

Right. Because there aren't hundreds of other manufacturers out there like Zierer, Gerstlauer, PTC, RMC, Premier, or Vekoma that could be creating this coaster.

Do you have any idea how long it takes that plant to crank out enough track for one coaster? If you do, please clue me in because I don't, but if I remember correctly (and sometimes I don't) Gatekeeper track wasn't manufactured at this time last year.

Well you did say hundreds, keep going with your list.

I'm intrigued.

He did say there "aren't" though

So, listing hundreds would make him a liar, technically. ;)

He was only agreeing with him.

You can ride those all you want.

It's worth noting that if we do indeed get an invert, then it is quite possible KI will have successfully clenched 3 of my top 5 spots in my favorite Steel coasters list. Which, as it happens right now are Vortex, Magnum XL-200, Gatekeeper, Flight of Fear, and Afterburn. I could see a nice invert pushing Afterburn out of that list. Though Raptor failed to do so. We shall see.

What?

LordSkippy, legitimately confused as to the meaning of this statement

Gatekeeper was announced before they ever started making the track. There is plenty of time.

Not individual houses, but they've apparently trademarked "Amusement Dark" as a potential new slogan for the Cedar Fair Haunts.

Just putting my 2 cents back in on the ride for next year. I really hope we get an inverted woody that breaks records too. Take Hades and just destroy its intensity and make it even more intense. Thats just me though.

I think I've figured out what's going in.

It's an inverted looping launched flying wooden giga coaster made by Intamin with green steel frames for the inversions with Diamondback-style trains and themed to Scooby-Doo.
