silver2005
Anyone else here find it odd that the Soak City webcam is facing the car pool parking lot? Also, the tubs have arrived on the site of Woodstock Gliders.

benny1388
Anyone else here find it odd that the Soak City webcam is facing the car pool parking lot? Also, the tubs have arrived on the site of Woodstock Gliders. Is it just me, or the Soak City (aka parking lot) one now shows several cars in the lot when it days/weeks past there really weren't? Is there something going on at the park?

JubJester
^Its a car pool parking lot for commuters. Yes it is. They park and then ride the Metro all the way downtown. MysticsTimber
Oh hey there! There may be snow on the ground right now and bitter cold but just think warm and happy thoughts of Kings Island's Opening Day on April 18th! We're down in the 50's (no not 50 Shades of Grey) but 59 days away until Opening Day! Here's a little something... I edited this a little but here's where I got it from: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/2014/04/17/kings-island-roller-coaster-Banshee/7813679/
jdawg1998
59 days seems like such a long time away...especially with all of this snow getting in the way. At least I can still see KI from my house to remind me it's awaiting me this summer...(unashamed brag).
Bansheeback
Counting down every second on my laptop. (Yes, that is Iron Dragon in the snow back there).
MysticsTimber
Hey, you. Yes, you! Guess what? We are down to 57 days until Opening Day! Imperial79
Wow, it would be great to go back in time and take part in the Kings Island Opening Day! Have that experience and riding some of the rides that we don't have a chance to ride now.

BlondyRidesOn
It rained all day on April 29, 1972. An Enquirer photo from that day can be seen at this link. The photo shows crowds on I-Street scattering, trying to find shelter from the falling rain. http://retro.cincinnati.com/Topics/Gallery/Kings-Island-Construction#Bashing The Bubbly

Tanna
In retrospect, the park looks so small compared to today, but when I first went, it was huge! I'm certainly glad I wore out the soles of my feet back then, because I didn't know most of those Coney rides would be gone so soon.
KIfan73
I still try to wrap my head around what it must have been like to witness a project on that scale pop up in a field in southwestern Ohio.
marlfox_21
What is this email I've received about a petting zoo? Gimme a call when they start handling animals requiring special licensing. Oh the concepts for a One of a kind Zoological park that Kings Island empowers to the mind. Just saying.

TheBEASTunchained
Have any more details been announced regarding the Season Passholder preview night? I was curious if I had missed something, because it seems that I haven't heard much about that since last year......
Tanna
I still try to wrap my head around what it must have been like to witness a project on that scale pop up in a field in southwestern Ohio. I knew one of the fellows on the construction crew when it was first built; he recently just died of cancer. He knew it was special, and when they were building, they talked about the fun they were going to have, like they were building it for themselves. There were so many things going at once, he told me, that as his crew would finish and go to clock out, they took time to see hat other things were being built. He recalled it as being a grand time in his life, and loved to see peoples' faces when they entered the park and took it allll in. His name was Harry Adler.

Spectrum91
Or tell customers their getting one thing and then change it to another thing. *coughcough* diningplan*cough* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk At first I thought you were referring to Diamondback's season pass preview day. The ride was meant to open on April 17, 2009 to season pass holders, but instead that event was cancelled and early morning ride time was added instead (which, for the record, was a much better idea)
