FoF96"
The tallest Ferris wheel in the US is larger than Top Thrill Dragster. I don't see them building that

BeeastFarmer
I'm not much of a gamer, but PVZ was very lame in my opinion. Very short, not much of a story line, and video lagged. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Oldschool75
Looks like the Army COE put the brakes on it. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/2016/08/08/army-corps-raises-newport-ferris-wheel-project-concerns/88436252/ Sent from my iOS 10 device
Gabe
Looks like the Army COE put the brakes on it. http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/2016/08/08/army-corps-raises-newport-ferris-wheel-project-concerns/88436252/ Sent from my iOS 10 device The Corps didn't put a halt to it; they stated that as designed, the ground wouldn't support it. In its eval, the Corps suggested a couple of ways it could work-basically by adding its own dedicated foundation. Whether the developer wishes to expend the capital to do so remains to be seen.
CoastersRZ
I saw an article in the last few days which quoted the developer saying they were going to submit revised drawings for the wheel to the COE. They did state that there would be no firm timeline until the Corps gives their approval, but that there would be about twelve months of construction once approval is granted. See more here: http://www.cincinnati.com/story/money/2016/08/08/army-corps-raises-newport-ferris-wheel-project-concerns/88436252/

Tanna
The queue was used for Killmart last year, but it hasn't been used as a haunt itself afaik. Another poster (sorry I forgot who) and I had secret plans to shove the Coney Island Smokes-A-Lot from the middle of the walkway to a corner of the Flight Deck queue, away from everyone.

diamonbackandbeastlover
I'd expect then to say a date at some point next week if not this weekend.
Magenta Lizard
I've decided it's most likely to be something about Planet Snoopy, probably going to finally retire Boo Blasters in favor of a new experience.
Kenban
It appears many of the Cedar Fair parks announcements are occurring on August 18th. I would not be surprised to see the second announcement occur then. Makes me wonder if most of the chain or the entire chain is getting the same flat ride.

Wasn't there something last year about CF adding 5 (maybe a different number) dark rides to their parks?
Tr0y
Valleyfair permits were leaked, according to http://screamscape.com/html/valleyfair.htm Valleyfair is receiving a Star Fyler Ride. The ride itself is very much like WindSeeker. Six Flags recently had a few built, called Skyscreamer. I don't see Cedar Fair adding these to parks that already have WindSeeker.
Pagoda Gift Shop
I think Carowinds is getting like 3 new flat rides.
rudyza
My guess is some kind of dark ride, either in the big box or replacing boo blasters.

Timmeh
I once had a dream where Timberwolf was removed and a Gerstlauer Eurofighter was installed there. Im not sure how well a Gerslauer Eurofighter would fit in with the layout but I think it would be cool. Again though, never going to happen, would be cool though.

Creed Bratton
They'll probably have the announcement on the 21st. Why would they announce on a Sunday? Most media coverage wouldn't be seen if they did so. Thursdays generally are the days announcements happen, including this one the 18th which many other Cedar Fair parks are announcing.

The only reason I know that is because I watched a live stream announcement while I was at work it was I believe around 2-3 and I only worked Monday-Thursday
