VortexBFForever
BUMP! I am now at 580 rides on Orion, but that is miniscule compared to a couple regulars I know, including @Vince Overfield who got around 2100 Orion rides this year alone!

KI FANATIC 37
I find it much more enjoyable to lap Diamondback over Orion. I think im only at 45ish for Orion, not much at all. From my experience, i feel like Diamondbacks operations are so much slower than Orion and always has a longer line which makes it harder to lap.

Most of that is the difference between Diamondback allowing loose articles and the associated slow down in stowing those in the bins versus no loose articles of Orion.
kingsislandfan1972
One, sadly I've gotten too fat to ride it, and when I could actually fit on it, the line was too long.
Stoan
I've ridden Orion like 4 times, Diamondback is just better to me.
DJSkyFoxx
A heckin' lot lol honestly I really don't know my count. I never kept track, but its definitely gotta be in the 80-ish or something mark by now. Especially after this season.
jbeast
I did not keep a count, but I have ridden it a ton. Absolutely love the first drop and speed it has. I don't mind that it is not that long of a ride. As I get a bit older, that's just enough for me...ha!
Vince Overfield
Well haven't posted here in awhile but as some of you know I have gone crazy on Orion the past 2 seasons 1528 in 2022 and 2100 in 2023 total rides now on Orion 5150, see you all at the park soon.
Captain Nemo
2… but I’m looking forward to getting back to Kings Island hopefully this year. I’m curious to see if my opinion of Orion will change. I wasn’t an immediate fan. It was an odd pick for the park. Still a very fun ride though.
silver2005
^I can sort of relate to that. After riding Fury 325 as well as being able to compare Orion with Millennium Force fairly close together last season, I definitely prefer the MF/Fury type ride where there are moments you get to appreciate going that fast in combination with larger elements, which is something I like with coasters going 90+ mph. Orion, to me, is just an upscaled Diamondback, and I like DB better. I do prefer Orion to I-305 though.
kingsislandfan1972
Surprisingly only once, now I have to lose weight to ever ride it again.
beastfan11
I’ve also only ridden it twice. It’s a good time, but not my favorite. Much prefer Diamondback!
