Timchat2
Reportedly an email went out to California's Great America season passholders stating that there would be no seasonal events in 2025, meaning no Carnivale at Orleans Place, Tricks & Treats Fall Fest or WinterFest. The current CGA 2025 operating calendar shows hours starting in April until the end of October with none listed in November or December. Diamondback_Is_King
This doesn't really surprise me. Because of the merger, Six Flags has so many parks to operate, and CGA isn't in the top tier. Unfortunately for smaller parks, they don't get the same treatment as the big ones (KI, KD, CP, Magic Mountain).
Orion-XL200
This likely, I'm guessing, is due to the fact that the park will no longer be in existence in a few years. Time to start scaling down operations as they can.

(looking at you Coney Island eliminating rides...)
CedarPointer
Curious what was advertised when they were taking people's money for passes.
disco2000
One could argue that this implies 2025 and not 2024, but vague enough (like a lot of their messaging) that FUN legal will say this was for rest of 2024:
PKIDelirium
I expect they want to close the park while still in the initial 5 years of the lease-back agreement. Taking the 6-year renewal for the 11 total years would be very costly.
BeeastFarmer
Isn't next year the 50th anniversary of the park? Or is it a year older than Six Flags Great America? I understand why, but it sux that they will be unable to celebrate the milestone.
