New Six Flags app...

The Six Flags app has been updated to include all of the legacy CF parks as well. However, I can't get it to behave properly (possibly because I had an account with Six Flags and an account with Cedar Fair, both with the same email/contact info and with the same pass added to both accounts from when I visited Great Adventure last year). It also doesn't seem to want to behave when logging in - the status thing just sits there spinning until you tap on it again (at which point it tells you there's already a user logged in). Other than that the app doesn't seem to be much different than the various legacy CF park apps were, beyond being able to select which park you're interested in.

I've successfully logged into the app. It's very nice so far and looks a lot like the new Carowinds app I posted about last month. The overall experience is a lot like the Cedar Fair apps (like Oldiesmann said), but the presentation is in the style of the new websites. For the Legacy Six Flags parks I was able to use my Cedar Fair pass number to add my pass there, and it seems to be the same across all passes now. I'm a little worried about if any features were removed for it to be on one giant app, but the App Store preview shows mobile ordering and a nicer Wait Times view. My largest gripe about this new app is that it now takes two clicks to access your season pass to scan your QR code. I already use my Apple Wallet to get through the parking tolls, but it was already hard enough to get my QR code up when i was headed into the toll booth.

I've added 2 passes and they won't show up for some reason after it says it's been successfully added

I like how they didn't fix the issues this had when they rolled it out at Carowinds, like passes not coming over correctly and not showing the photo, people not being able to log in, etc.

My passes showed up on it when i logged in.  I had previously loaded them to the Kings Island Kings, Dominion Carowinds Canadas Wonderland and Cedar Point apps.   So one of those carried it over.
 

however, when I bring up the pass on my normal size iPhone, it only shows about 2/3 of the QR code and will not scroll over

The Paramount/Cedar Fair tech integration was tricky too. Cedar Fair had an antique system and adopted Paramount's entirely, but there weren't any apps or "pass accounts" to sort out, let alone putting together two major such systems...

I wonder with the new AP if the SixFlags GA Pass that I bought and was told I had to activate there will be active since its now showing as scannable in the ap and valid through 12/31/2026. Will try this weekend when back at park

I wonder if they'll ever figure out how to make the screen go to full brightness when you open your pass like every other app that has scannable passes/tickets/etc does. It would have been nice if it was more of an upgrade than just "the newer style Cedar Fair app with all the other parks crammed into it".

I still am hoping that mobile ordering will be coming to the legacy CF parks.  It worked wonderfully when I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom this spring.

There is a button for it that pops up when you're in the park, but it currently just pulls up all of the dining locations. It looks like they may be using the Sand Bar in Soak City as a testing location if you look on the website.

When they tested it at CP at Coasters, it worked wonderfully...I miss it and wish it was still a thing (mobile ordering, not just at Coasters).

Has anyone else not been able to log in to the new Six Flags app? I have tried after logging out in response to not finding my passes on the app and keep getting this message.  I then tried to log in on the official website and cannot find any log in portal.

Update: I disconnected the WiFi network my phone was using and was able to log in to the app and see my passes. Must have been something with the WiFi network.

Just discovered that your passes only show under your home park in the app, so if you're at another park, you have to switch back to your home park every time you want to scan it (or add it under the other park too, I guess).

What an obvious miss.

You can add your pass to the other parks using that 20(?) digit number. The only thing I haven't been able to do yet is add any new passes to my Apple Wallet.
