  1. Everything is a walk-on right now! No lines anywhere!

  2. People have turned it into a political thing unfortunately.

  3. It's not a right or left thing it's a SCIENCE thing. I was merely pointing out the facts. Hours of research isn't the answer as I found the articles in a simple google search. Understanding the vaccine is serious because the disease is serious (3,000,000+ deaths worldwide, 590,000+ in the US). Not sure where you're getting that they are not approved, they all received emergency approval. (https://www.fda.gov/emergency-preparedness-and-response/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/covid-19-vaccines) Both Moderna and Phizer are mRNA vaccines, not your traditional vaccine. mRNA vaccine research has been going on for decades and the ability to react to a new virus was seen in the current vaccines. (https://www.oligotherapeutics.org/facts-about-mrna-vaccines-and-the-decades-of-research-that-went-into-creating-them/) They went through rigorous tests as well (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/how-did-we-develop-a-covid-19-vaccine-so-quickly#Rigorous-guidelines-for-clinical-trials). My intention was to inform. Not just you but others who may see your statement and want to be informed of the facts. Information is power. Facts are important. I try to reference sites that are scientific in nature (nothing from Fox, MSNBC or CNN). Just remember there are anti-vaxers out there that don't believe in the vaccines you would consider guaranteed. They are basing their beliefs on rumors that were spread at the start of those vaccine roll-outs. I'm just trying to dispose of the rumor's before we have this same problem with the COVID vaccine in the future. When people don't get vaccinated they allow the virus a chance to mutate. If a new vaccine resistant strain get's a chance to spread then we'll be back in the same situation we were last year with restrictions on Theme Parks, etc. and I think we can ALL agree we don't want that.

  4. The SDC location would be interesting for a thrill coaster. The clearing and construction wall is located in their Fireman's Landing childrens area I believe. Not saying it won't be SDC, but it would just be a bit unusual to locate it there.

  5. I made a new updated concept based on @MrSourNinjas concept and new Intamin launches like Velocicoaster and Pantheon. The name is still Mustang and the skyroller and relocation of the gliders are still there. but instead of a Maverick like coaster, it's more like Velocicoaster.

  7. A $30 million B&M Giga is not a "filler" coaster no matter how you try to frame it.

  8. Orion is still not a filler coaster, but if this Gerstlauer was in the works before Orion was moved to Kings Island, I could see it going to Kings Island. I do think it would be a good fit at the park, but I would be surprised to see it added for Kings Island’s 50th anniversary unless its pays homage to Vortex in some way. The May opening makes me a little skeptical, though, considering Kings Island’s usual April openings. If it is meant for Kings Island, we would probably see signs in the coming months.

  9. What if this was in the works for The Vortex spot and the Orion project was taken away from CGA to be a filler coaster for KI?

  10. I could definitely see it being Silver Dollar City with their recent land clearing, but I am not sure how big the area being cleared is. I would love to see Cedar Fair add something new, but it does seem like they want to wait before investing in new attractions. Maybe they will add only smaller rides and not rollercoasters for 2022 besides Kings Dominion’s S&S 4D Free Spin.

  11. I stand corrected. No approval yet (which just keeps it from being sold to individuals or sold by private companies, it must be distributed through specific channels). I assure you I have intelligence and personal attacks are not required. As I stated I'm simply wanting to inform. Seems like you don't like to see anything that you don't agree with. The truth is out there, you just have to look for it. Again, I pulled nothing from a news channel or some guy with a bow tie who admittingly in court has an opinion show not a news show. There is no debate. You may not believe in the virus, but the virus believes in you. As far as requiring a vaccine for admittance, last time I checked this was America where capitalism is an accepted thing. A business may run any way with any rules it sees fit. If you don't like the rules, don't support the business. Discussion and debate is what we need more of in my opinion. We all agree on certain things and disagree on others. It's called being human. The ability to have an intellectual debate and sharing of ideas as well as having the freedom to do so is what makes this country very special indeed. You showed me there is a difference between emergency use and approval, hopefully you learned something as well. It's the only way we grow. Cheers.

  12. I think Diamondback and The Racer need repainted the most, but Banshee is also starting to look kind of faded. It does not need repainted right away, but in a few years, it will probably need a repaint.

  13. It's literally a giga coaster. As much as I would want that Gerst coaster to be ours, it's not and Orion is the park's main attraction now.

  14. no amusement park would ever spend 30 million dollars for a "filler coaster"

  15. So like Orion's brake run? That station is pretty far off the ground.

  16. No thanks, we already are dealing with a plague and it has not been pleasant at all.

  17. The Racer is the obvious choice at KI. With all the attention to the area formerly known as Coney Mall and Area 72, it sticks out like a sore thumb. And the peeling paint and rotten wood is shameful on a coaster this important. After that, repaint Diamondback.

  18. Diamondback and Behemoth need fresh paint BADLY. Intimidator, the newest of the 3, getting one first makes it even more obvious. I'd also love a new color scheme for Behemoth altogether, but a fresh coat of paint would do!

  19. Diamondback has looked really bad recently with its incredibly faded paint job. It dominates Rivertown to such a degree that repainting it would liven up the whole area to an extent. Cedar Fair recently repainted Intimidator at Carowinds which is one year younger than Diamondback, so that gives me hope a Diamondback repaint is coming soon.

  20. I will not reveal either way. My body my choice, I am guessing most on here are pro choice, as you are so pro vaccine, as this is the complete answer to this virus. I am not a scientist, nor do I spend hours upon hours by doing research for old numbers. We have vaccinations for the old viruses that have been proven and approved. These 3 available here are allowed, but not approved. It takes years to completely develop a vaccine that can be guaranteed. But, I guess we are a bunch of experts here. I have stated an opinion, that is apparently farther right then what most want to hear. I will keep my comments to myself from now on, since everyone wants to take everything to serious.

  21. What if Orion was a filler coaster and we were getting the Gerstlauer coaster all along in The Vortex spot?
