They are all memorable.Riding Vortex with my Mother,Prom date puking on my shoes in line for The Beast(I still rode!),Ice skating with my friends, riding DB non-stop with fastlane with my wife, riding Woodstock Express and Viking Fury with my 4 year old! Her favorite seat is the back with hands up from start to finish on both. Today i took her sledding and she pretended to ride all her favorite KI rides going down the hill.3 points

not sure if its just one visit or the brains ability to mold many visits into just one. But it would have to be one of the last times my Gpa was able to go to the park. We always go on Shriner's day. He would go to the picnic area and sit and socialize. Gma would go with us to the shows. We would laugh and enjoy food for way too long. Wait in long lines for The Beast, or log flume rides. Run to ride the backwards Racer. Dad and I would create a tape in the old recording studio. Eat fugdge in Ol' Coney. Gma and Aunt would tell me that the trees leading back to White Water Canyon were gum trees because of all the gum stuck to it. Being too small to ride King Cobra. Walking under the shade of the green over growth leading to Hannah Barbara/Nick land. Getting a picture infront of the Scooby/Fred Statues. Riding Antique cars with my cousin. Getting to drive even though I was 10 or 6 or 13. Like I said, not sure if it was just one trip or the memories of many trips bleeding into one. Doesnt matter though because it still makes me smile. I still remember riding the shuttle to the parking lot, getting out and into the car and barely being awake by the time the car hit the expressway.3 points

Probably back somewhere around 1998 when I ran from a character in Hannah-Barbera Land and ended up under a table in Rivertown. I don't remember much of it, but my parents always like to tell that story to my friends and at family gatherings...3 points

I really wonder what people expect a minimum wage job to be like. Is it hard work? Sure. Long hours? Yes. What job (not just minimum wage) does not have these two things in common? Even the recent Wal-Mart boycotts were absurd. Could Wal-Mart pay their employees more? Sure. Then their low prices on everyday items will go up and those same people making minimum wage will not be able to afford the things necessary to live. If anything, hard work at minimum wage should serve a reality check that unless you work even harder, your talents will be wasted on a minimum wage job.3 points

I must say the best gift I received on christmas morning was my piece of Son of Beast track and my new KI season pass. Hope everyone had a happy holiday and merry christmas!3 points

July 1982. Rode The Bat several times - totally new experience! Rode The Beast for the first time & came off of it shaking - still do to this day! Took my very first #2 at an amusement park that day (could have been from The Beast shaking me up). The weather was perfect, the park not too crowded, and was with 3 friends - all of us had a great, no, make that outstanding time! The other time, which was equally as memorable, was in July of 2010. I was with my daughter and met up with a KIC member or two and, since I had to use my walker, we were able to access rides via the exit gate (of the ride), thus avoiding the long queue lines. A simply marvelous time - 2 days - with absolutely gorgeous weather, and except for puking after riding Delirium for the first time, everything was perfect. I would imagine that future visits will also be awesome, but I will have to use my walker from now on which can be a bit frustrating whilst navigating through crowds. I need a loud, dual-note horn and a shirt with a big orange triangle on the back!2 points

Without a doubt, opening day of Diamondback in 2009. Not only was I fortunate enough to be one of the auction riders, but that is also when I met the wonderful small group of Friends I have from this site.2 points

Wow, more effects. I went on an effect frenzy when I first got my camera exploring all the different features. This is supposed to make it look miniature. Easy: Any BLSC pic Hard: Any tombstone from the HAUNT Expert: Invertigo at night2 points

I recently learned using Photobucket with my iPhone you can upload your pic, then copy the "IMG code" & paste it directly to the "reply box" and it works perfectly. I don't see why an iPad or iPad mini would be any different.2 points

Ah. Thanks. It would also help if it were certain who currently owns it and has the right to sell it. It's a mess.2 points

For what he's done, and what he's bringing to the park, I've got no complaints. This isn't the best of time for the entertainment industry, and the parks are doing well. Do the commenters think his payroll was a million during his high school and college jobs? Starter wages are just that, for starters. one shouldn't be thirty five years old and still shoveling fries due to lack of ambition. It the complainers want better wages, perhaps they can try for jobs higher then minimum wage, or create their own niche.2 points

Comments like that are typical due to most not understanding the importance of the position. I have been part of a company where the new president made decisions that made such an impact, the company is still barely hanging on 4 years later. Some may not believe this the way that I do: "You get what you pay for."2 points

How's your pole this year? I had a good 100 % steel pole this year in my living room. How was the telling of grievances? The feats of strength? (I won that this year for the record)2 points

I liked the comment about not letting their kids work at the park. So when the kids can't find a job, but that one is available, will they still deny it?1 point

Yes. Mr. Kinzel made much more. He'd have made even more had it not been for that pesky, activist unitholder. And who it was that would now be running the company would have been up to Apollo Global, who he tried to deliver the company to at approximately 2/3 off.1 point

The comments are laughable. I still don't know why (actually I do*) newspapers allow for online comments, especially ones linked with Facebook. The people commenting in that article are the same ones you'll see advocating for "the free market," while being angry that our free market allows for a CEO to make millions on the back of minimum wage, seasonal employees. Whether that's right or wrong is a discussion for another day, but didn't Richard "DICK" Kinzel make much, much, much more? *As idiots bicker over futile comments thinking that the newspapers gives two cents about their opinion, the views on the pages go up thus the views of the ads go up thus increasing revenue.1 point

So....TylerRider and I have been getting some messages from member: J8257618 asking to skype with us seperately. I obliged, to see what was going on....upon starting a skype message, this memeber asked me to turn my cam on k. I declined as I didn't know them. Their information said they were male but their name was Lauren Crawford. They continued to ask me to cam on k. After declining again, they began to ask inappropriate questions and another member here can vouch for that. If you get a request, do not oblige. Just run away.1 point

The Crypt.. Son of Beast... Vortex... WindSeeker... Thunder Alley... 5 rides gone in two years? Why do I get the feeling this is a diversion? I understand now. That is not the actual 2013 map. You honestly had me convinced that it was. If anyone wants to face palm me, I accept my fate.1 point
