  1. Was there an outage this morning? I couldn't access the forum at all.
  2. I think a Big Bear Mountain style coaster would be a great fit in The Bat area if/when Six Flags decides to retire it. Have it utilize the terrain and run through the forest. Give it a "Dark Forest Adventure" style theme. If not The Bat area, the area in between The Crypt building and The Beast would work. I would prefer to see a multi inversion focused coaster on The Vortex site mainly due to the departure of Vortex and Firehawk and Invertigo's future being likely up in the air.
  3. ML Designs created a concept of a Vekoma Ghostrider with an extended layout in The Vortex plot and it actually fits pretty well!
  4. My wish is that if the park was really willing to spend the money, they could theme the train ride around 'The Polar Express" and play the music from the film and have some scenes set up along the way!
  5. As much as I really want the castle to go in favor of a brand new exterior design, I would totally not be shocked if they just make some minor modifications to the castle structure and just dress it up to make it more like a gothic/medieval theater. I mean Music Hall in downtown Cincinnati sorta looks like a castle on the outside.
  6. Me also in 8th grade drawing a 395 foot giga idea for KI named Savage 395 and telling every classmate and teacher about it. Ha!
  7. Me in 8th grade checking Lightning Rod/Valravn updates on the chromebooks when I was supposed to be working on school work/group projects (got yelled at by the teacher for that one lol)
  8. Please tell me you're not going to bug Tony about a madhouse like you did to Koontz....jk
  9. I honestly wonder if they're going to put old theater style carpet in the queue. I believe Haunted Hotel (a recent Sally creation) has themed carpet in the queue.
  10. It was both sides last year. It just ran one train on both sides.
  11. I mean they already play patriotic music in Coney Mall during Tricks and Treats. Maybe they could just move that playlist over to I street and call it a day! I'd take that over the jazz 100%
  12. Also for those who don't know, the area under the load/unload turntable is a tornado shelter.
  13. Ok that would be pretty cool in Rivertown. I believe Over Texas does something like this and I believe Cedar Point did the year SteVe came out. Also sorry for double post
  14. We already have enough "story driven" family attractions. I looked up Dino Off Road Adventure and it's basically an antique car ride with dinosaurs. Wonder if it would it be an overlay of KMAA or it would take over the leftover Dinosaurs Alive path behind Orion. I think the multi launch coaster will win (if they use this survey to decide what's next) as most passholders I've seen on socials are ready for a new thrill coaster as 2027 will be 7 years since the last one. A new stunt show would also be nice. Is it basically the same as the previous ones (trailblazers/off the rails) or something completely new? I'd honestly like to see the Ultimate Stunt Show that took over the royal fountain in 2017/18 come back in some form.
  15. Sounds like a survey went out today for future attractions and looks like a modern Vekoma launch was one of the options! Idk what the other options were if any as I haven't gotten the survey, but it sounds like the rumor season is about to start up again! 16. Guessing that probably means the castle is coming down. Fingers crossed we get something similar to the old Phantom Theater entrance.
  17. My idea is a multi level station structure like Time Traveler where the queue is one and/or 2 levels below the station platform. Also if they go with a high capacity 3 train operation coaster, that could make it where they don't really need a long queue outside of busy weekends. Even on medium busy days, rides like Banshee and Orion are rarely longer than a few switchbacks. I also would like to see an under the station queue as A) it provides shade and B: there's theming opportunity I really wish more parks in the chain used the under the station area for queuing as usually when they don't it's dead space under there.
  18. That is a bit of a stretch. They would need to put it together and test it a certain amount of times, get it certified by the state, then train the supervisors/managers, THEN get the crew trained which would honestly be a bit of a hassle as half of Coney Mall crew wise was completely changed up. For those who don't know ride ops at Monster were paired with Scrambler and Dodgem and both of those rides were on different crews this year so undoing all that and getting the ride ops cross trained with just a few weekends to go would be a bit of a task.
  19. I think if there's any sort of pre-show it'll be set up similar to Haunted Hotel at Funtown Splashtown USA which is a newer Sally creation.
  20. Is it just me or does it look like something that would fit perfectly in the Invertigo/Congo/Timberwolf plot at KI? Not that I would want one bc I'd rather not get a dive at KI, but just something to think about.
  21. So basically a real life version of the old Six Flags bus commercials with Mr Six? Lol
  22. I walked through that today and it honestly reminded me of the old vine tunnel KI used to have and what KD has. I would honestly not be opposed to enclosing this walkway with a permanent vine tunnel especially if The Vortex plot is going to remain empty going forward.
  23. I don't believe they do it on purpose. If they do and are caught by upper management they likely get written up or even lose their job. I believe they are trained specifically to not scare those with the neckless on. Obviously accidents happen, but that doesn't mean they scare those with necklesses on purpose.
  24. I'd like to see what is currently the Peanuts Showplace/meet and greet area utilized for this ride in some way. Whether that would be extended queue space or a Phantom Theater character meet and greet area and/or PT museum (like the lobby of PT Encore).
  25. I'm guessing opening weekend and probably on most weekends, the line will probably be similar to the final days of Boo Blasters where it spills out onto the midway and heads towards Peanuts Showplace.
