  1. This thread needs to be put to rest. The park has said in numerous places that filming on rides is strictly prohibited including the use of video glasses that a certain facebook account that I will not name who keeps advertising for filming on the rides. If a ride operator sees anyone with a phone or camera out they will kindly ask that you put it away. A lot of operators use a 3 strike rule that if they have to ask more than 3 times, they'll stop the ride and kick the guest off. Or they'll stop the ride on the lift hill and an operator will have to lock out, take the long walk up the lift hill, confiscate the phone, and then call security and they'll be waiting for them when they get off the ride and out of the park they go.
  2. Man this thread feels like the endless arguments about drone/aerial pics in the giga speculation thread a few years ago
  3. Oh yes. IShowSpeed. He was doing a livestream and filmed on Racer and he got caught on livestream. Also, he was basically causing a ruckus as there were at least 20 of his fans basically swarming him around the park.
  4. You want to do that, just add jungle/forest theming to the Rivertown arcade and there you go.
  5. I actually haven't been to it since 2015 when I went with my former church youth group when I lived in Indiana. In fact, I only went for 2 out of the 3 days as I was in Cincy for a conference downtown that same week and after the conference ended we met up with the group at KI. However, I do like the concert atmosphere that SS brings to the park and I know some people who love going every year. It also brings in a ton of church groups every year so imo it adds to the atmosphere of the park.
  6. Funny they put Blue Fire in the background of their 2023 logo lol. You would've thought they would've put Orion in the background with it being the first SS event since Orion opened...
  7. **DOUBLE POST** We have another confirmed band and leaked date. This time Cain on June 15. https://www.caintheband.com/#tour
  8. Newsboys may have given away one of the dates from their Instagram:
  9. Well that was a very sneaky hidden announcement lol.
  10. There has been no such announcement yet. Can you reference a source for that information?
  11. It depends on how Pipeline at SWO runs. Is it comfortable for all riders? The trains are what are going to make or break it.
  12. No wonder they're doing the whole dockside theming for the Mercado. I've even said before that the Mercado is basically bringing back the whole dock like theme from Bubba Gump Shrimp.
  13. Not a ride, but I will say the fountain pedistals was probably the biggest mistake imo. While the new fountains are unique in their own way, the old fountains with the pedistals really made them look "royal" hence the name "royal fountain" while these fountains make it a show fountain like Bellagio or The Island.
  14. Here's an idea for the Soak City subway, how about you move the Skyline Chili Express into there so it gets its own kitchen and stuff and then you turn the current skyline chili express stand into a Coke refill stand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think SC has any Coke refill stands. Obviously I could be wrong because I haven't been to Soak City in like 5 years lol. Just a thought.
  15. Does Brewhouse not exist lol Ik it was talked about on here awhile ago that they could remove Ice Scream Zone in AZ and basically move it to Subway and replace ISZ with a Coca-Cola freestyle stand.
  16. It's still not listed on the website. The food joints are in alphabetical order and Subway is no where to be found. The website has clearly been edited as Enriques and Mercado were added.
  17. Subway is no longer on the website..... https://www.visitkingsisland.com/dining
  18. ^^Very good points. However, I'm sticking with: 2024: Cedar Point (Dragster reimagined) Dorney (mini dive) 2025: Canada's Wonderland (Xtreme Spinner in world expo get to that in a minute) Carowinds (GCI with possible inversion using titan track and infinity flyers in Rapids/Palladium plots) Kings Dominion (small/medium size B&M wing coaster. Like X flight or maybe Thunderbird size in Volcano plot) 2026: Kings Island (Mack or Intamin multi launch) Valleyfair (small scale B&M invert) BOLD prediction Michigan's Adventure (skyline attractions family single rail coaster like some SF parks are getting) 2027: Knotts Berry Farm (maybe Ghosttown B&M giga happens or a hyper, but I think they'll get some sort of large addition in Ghosttown that year) Cedar Point (GCI woodie in Forbidden Frontier/Frontier fling plot.) For Canada's Wonderland, I'm saying 2025 is likely their year because Amusement Insiders' little birdy or whatever seems to be pointing him in predicting 2025 and I honestly think we see the demolition of Flight Deck and/or Time Warp also don't forget Kingswood is just sitting there with some of the tents gone likely awaiting removal. You remove those 3 things, that opens up a huge plot of land in that area of the park that desperately needs a retheme. I think they combine their world expo and Action Zone and turn it into a giant world expo area and I think a Mack Xtreme spinner would fit perfectly with that type of theme. Ik Amusement Insiders should be taken with a grain of salt, but it is worth noting that he basically nailed it predicting Yukon Striker (minus the whole giga thing lol), Lazybear Lodge, and the 2023 additions (not exactly right, but he did predict a Snoopy kids coaster early on and a flat ride near Yukon and boom that's exactly what's happening). So I definitely have a good trust in Amusement Insiders over some other prediction channels. Now for Carowinds, while I am still predicting 2025 and the rapids/palladium plot, it is worth mentioning that Carowinds Fans Only did in fact spot some work going on in Dinosaur's Alive so don't completely rule out 2024 for Carowinds quite yet, but could very well be for something else. source: https://www.facebook.com/carowindsfansonly Anyways, excited about the future of the parks.
  19. People say that, but I haven't seen any legit source that backs that up. It's been 15+ years now since the last B&M at BGW was added. Plus, BGW doesn't have a wing coaster so it would be different.
  20. I'm actually starting to think 2026 for our coaster. Based on other parks, I don't think we should be up yet. We all know 2024 is Dragster and Dorney. 2025 is rumored to be Canada's Wonderland's year for a big coaster. I think an Xtreme Spinner would be perfect at Wonderland. Also, Carowinds hasn't recieved a coaster since before Covid so I think 2025 will be their year. I'm thinking a GCI where the Rapids ride was plus maybe they removed the not used Palladium and combine the plots. Also, KD I think replaces Volcano first as they removed Volcano before Vortex. I think we see the wing coaster that was shelved before covid be ressurected, but maybe a little bigger. I think 2026 will be KI and Valleyfair's year.
  21. Tbh I feel like the most we could see on opening day is the rides open along with restaurants and pavers complete. I think theming will be added more as the season goes on mainly during the week of weekend operations in April/May.
  22. Folks, it is officially the last full month of not being able to visit the park! Ready for opening day!
  23. I've also had a talk from with a friend of mine that if/when subway eventually leaves, the Soak City subway could become a Skyline and the current skyline express becomes a drink stand. Just speculation though.
