Adventure Port Construction Updates

KI already does a festival in September with Tricks and Treats along with Haunt. Now, I would like to see them do an Oktoberfest like event and combine it with Tricks & Treats -

Dorney Park Project 2024

"lazer strike" or "lazer plunge" would honestly be good for a dive coaster -
Dorney Park Project 2024
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to DiamondbackFan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Well great news today! The project got a 6-0 vote to move forward by the township planners today! Also was confirmed to be a steel coaster around 161 feet tall. They also said they plan to work with a proven manufacterer and are planning on investing in sound proofing the coaster. I think this almost confirms a B&M dive tbh. https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/lehigh-county/2023/02/south-whitehall-planners-back-new-1617-foot-high-rollercoaster-at-dorney-park.html -
I'll attempt to get tickets as usual. However, like the past few years, expect it to sell out in 5-10 minutes tops.

Adventure Port Construction Updates
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island
Update: It seems like all the concrete in the viewing camera up to the Coke building has been ripped out. Now, wishing they would move the camera over so we can see the rest of the area come together. -

I say the biggest sign that we could see for a major new project there on opening day would be if they move the fence up to right up against the midway in the area where the batwing was. Right now, the fence near where the batwing was is away from the midway. I say when they start construction there, they'll move the fence up right up against the midway to block the view of the site. That's probably where they'll do the teasing campaign.

From what I remember, the clearing for Orion didn't start until like April. I remember a member flying in a plane over the park that off season as late as March and the only thing cleared was Firehawk's plot. Also, with Vortex's plot, they likely wouldn't need to clear much more space unless they were going to do a very large coaster that would need the extra woods space behind The Vortex site. Vortex and the original bat fit in this cleared plot well. They basically cleared the site when they demolished Vortex so all they'd basically need to do is grade the site.

Vekoma Madhouse in 2026?
Hawaiian Coasters 325 replied to Cedar Fair Fanboy's topic in Coming Attractions
If there were to be a madhouse in there, they likely wouldn't start construction until late in the season. In fact, you can probably still do the Haunt in there and have the new madhouse open by the next season's opening day. -

Where exactly are you hearing that from? I don't think they are going to do more than maybe updated theming in the tunnel and new theming in the rerouted queue. -

Apparently, it was probably a pixelcaster issue. Pixelcaster is the website that does the webcams. I went on Cedar Point's and theirs were down too. I tried loading the pixelcaster website and the site itself wouldn't load, so it probably was a site issue.

Looking at it closely, it is probably just that tree. The thing is after it rains, it turns the tree and concrete brown so it makes it "look like" dirt. I rushed to conclusions a little too quickly. -

There looks to be something happening in the back of Planet Snoopy. It looks like they are digging up the area where Snoopy's Junction sits. Might want to keep an eye on this: -
That was over 10 years ago and a different CEO. Wouldn't surprise me if I-305 is rethemed to Jungle X once the license expires.

I can guarantee you Evel/Robbie's family has that trademarked. I doubt CF would want to buy a license to use a name like that when they can trademark their own name.

Racer's repaint didn't start until the beginning of March last year so it's not out of the relm of possibility that they're focusing on other projects first. The downside is, we may see a later opening for DB or it'll be like Racer where they get sections painted as the season goes on. -
I have a perfect name for an Xtreme spinner: Polar Vortex. Great nod to the former Vortex coaster, but with a new theme (think Ice Breaker at SWO). Imagine the teaser campaign: "A storm is brewin"

He probably means the door on the games building (former skylab queue). I was confused too with the word carnival because the building for Grand Carnivale/WF parade floats is the big white tent behind Racer.
