  1. ^You could have just said that without using 16 lines. But among all rides I miss it is the phantom theater. Although it never had much of a line it was one of those rides everyone rode.
  2. That would be Legend Riders job... to throw the dictionary. Anyway, if you read the park map it does say that some rides may close down (this also goes under rainchecks). The rides are fixed as fast as they possably can.
  3. It is quite a mesmerizing photo, great picture Uncle Henry. Although I have never even heard of the soda, this contest sounds cool. Good luck.
  4. Make sure to get to the park bright and early if you want to get your first choice rides walk on. As the day moves on it may become crowded like it has been years before. The STAR SPANGLED CELEBRATION will last from July 1st to July 4th. The Celebration will be full of live music, Dancing in the streets, and antique costumes, and a grand end to each night with Nights of Fire at 10:00PM each of those four nights. The show is something not to miss.
  5. Other than Tomb Raider, I love Son of Beast. I am one or the rare ones to say that it is my favorite but I love the layout and the thrill it holds. It has one of the best pre-drop on any coaster and the drop is amazing.
  6. I also forgot the Grand Carousel. The Festhaus was also open. For more information about the 2005 Winterfest at Kings Island you can visit it's web page. http://www2.paramountparks.com/kingsisland/winterfest/
  7. Answer to questin number 2: Scooby doo and the haunted castle Pixie and Dixies Swings HB Carosel Paramount Theater Paramount Story Almost all the shops in International Street, Octoberfest, Rivertown, Santa Land (aka, HB land)
  8. It's better than no transportation to Crocodile Dundee’s Boomerang bay. But you have to remember, our train is the only steam train in any amusement park. I agree with BoddaH1994 on this one.
  9. A monkey kissed you... I'll stop there. I heard you had a great time. I can't wait to get down to HW and ride The Voyage for myself.
  10. Captain Nemo

    Metal Detectors

It's better than having no metel detectors.
  11. Nick or treat islikly to stay, it seems Howl'o'fest was more of the HB theme.
  12. What an enjoyable trip TopThrill. Happy you had fun, It was a nice day to.
  13. I have loved Son of Beast ever since it opened and never have had any problem with it. Now I can see where people come from when they don't want to ride it but I can handle it. Area's I felt a major difference in was the first drop and turn, the turn at the top of the first hill entering the double helix, And the rosebowl. I find it still a great and enjoyable ride and I hope you do.
  14. That would be great. What year was this episode filmed?
  15. I wish I had seen it but the time it was on is to late at night. It must have been very interesting to see.
  16. Thats target 5 news for you, I never really liked their program. The whole show seem inexperiencedand not well put togeather. I'm a Channel 9 News watcher.
  17. Stay on track people... I found this very interesting and after reading I am all the more happy Cedar Fair bought us. http://www1.paramountparks.com/KingsIsland...cfm?item_id=387

Six Flags New Orleans- Closed due to Hurricane Six Flags Wyandot Lake- To be sold at the end of the 2006 season Frontier City- To be sold at the end of the 2006 Season Six Flags Worlds of Adventure- Sold to Cedar Fair in 2004 Six Flags Astroworld- Closed in 2005 All the Europe division six flags parks were sold
  19. Wow, this event is full of cool things, ERT, Walkbacks. Sounds cool, I'm not part of any coaster club, I'm a club of my own.
  20. I said Usually. I don't think PKI is a park they are interested in either.
  21. Don't worry, Vortex is here and running. I don't know who told you such a thing but there is no need to panic, everyones favorite Arrow looper is still here!
  22. During the time CBS was selling us there was no news on who were interested in buying. The only clue we had was the news a week before the Cedar Fair buy when they said they were interested. Busch Gardens and Universal are also not looking for our kind of park, Usually parks that are all year round have sister parks that are year round as well. But to answer your question there were no indications of Busch Gardens or Universal interested in buying.
  23. I looked at the fact sheet at Greatwolflodge.com to cheak out what perks they will have. While it has no info about any entry to PKI there are some other facts that are worth looking at.
  24. Thats one wicked trip Maverick! Have fun, hope the parks wont be to crowded.
  25. I'm Shocked this poll isn't the main page poll. PKI has been for sale for about 4-5 months and people began to know that we would be sold back in september. The fact is that most everyone in the end knew it would come down to Cedar Fair or a Privet Comp. The true expression I had when I logged on to PKIC and saw the news was something like this... It will be different and many changes will come but in the end I know everyone will be happy. In reply to Erosarrow05 post I must agree with that point you made that CP is what keeps Cedar Fair going, it's their main focus and even after this buy I will not doupt it will still be their focus. This buy is truly massive because PKI is such a huge park and contains alot of great rides. I can't wait to see what will be in store next year.
