Saturday was one of the crowdest days I have seen this Fearfest. It's a good thing I did not decide to go flying... there would be nothing to take pics of!

Man, this sounds like a haunt! I would expect no little of this attraction where they allow cussing, and are allowed to touch you. Unlike Fearfest, you can still find children under 13 in the park. I don't think you will find a kid in this attraction. First thing that comes to mind is if there is an age limit you have to be to go through the attraction? I mean if this attraction has scenes of clowns getting their heads chopped off by a machete, and people getting hung... why wouldn't there be an age limit?

Festhaus is the prime example of a place to go when you need to cool off/and or get a bite to eat. I would agree with Combat, it needs for food options. I do like that this year it is more of a peaceful environment than the years before when it was loud and had the environment of a bar. I think they should do a show like what they did during Winterfest.

This topic went negative before it went to the second page. There is no real anser to this poll, there are people who love SOB, hate it, and some who don't ride it. I happen to be a person who likes SOB so you all know where I stand in this debate. Its like all rides, you like it or hate it. In this case it seems to be more people hate it.

Disney is wonderful at keeping those magical moments! It's just the fact that they are most likely the only place in the world where you can watch fireworks with your favorite Disney character, just you and your hero. To a little one, that is like a "dream come true".

Wow, nothing like a bump of a topic. The tower is the apple of your eye at Kings Island; to me it symbolizes the start and end of everything thrilling. You look at other parks and look for something that stands out, and monument, a ride, anything that will pop up in your head every time you think of it. For example the first thing that comes into my head when I think about Disney World is Epcot and the giant dome. In Universal Studios Florida it's the spinning globe outside the two parks. And when I loved in South Korea, there was a park called Lotte World Sky Plaza, and I always picture the Castle that presents a pyro-laser show at the end of the night. And then there is always Kings Island. The tower can be seen almost anywhere in the park. Back to the original topic, it just would not make sense to edit or build something on the centerpiece of the park. The tower is what represents the park.

The first time I remember going to PKICentral was before the PKIU Merger. I was 16 at that time. I guess I really became a frequent visitor to PKIC in November '04 after my first set of Aerial pics. It really is quite amazing to see how far PKICentral has gone. If it was not for the top notch staff that runs it, (Ryan, Dane, and Bill) I don't think PKIC would be half what it is today. Kudos to all of the staff for keeping this site alive and jumping. I mean, what other park fan site gets exclusive coverage? PKIC is one of a kind and I think it has a bright future as it transforms, especially with Cedar Fair now owning the park Great to see the greatest PKI fan site on its third year, looking forward to the next. -Capt. Without winterfest the off-season will seem much longer! But I am happy that Kings Island is even open till the end of October. The Interpreter is right, atleast we have our park open while parks like Holiday World and Geauga Lake are done for the season.

I am not big on HTML but I would guess that sometimes you won’t receive all the data that is being sent. I would guess it is caused by some disruption. It should load the full page after waiting a while then pressing refresh.

Agreed, I think the real question is when the announcment will be.

Not only do we at "PKI" Central not know what the '07 attraction is, we don't know what any of the former Paramount parks are getting! You will know what it is when it is given to the public.

Drop Zone was part of the Adventure Village Expansion, along with Face-Off. Nothing was in its current area. I may be wrong but I think part of the Timber wolf entrance was in that area. As written in the History Timeline on PKIC... 1999: The Adventure Village theme area is renamed Paramount’s Action Zone and two rides are added to this area: Drop Zone (World Tallest Intamin Gyro Drop) and Face/Off (Vekoma Invertigo inverted roller coaster).
