Something’s Happening at 1060 North Aurora Road PKICentral has been in a bustle of activity every since the rumor of X-Flight being dismantled hit the news. First came the question of what Cedar Fair was doing the park, then it became a question of where X-Flight was planning to go. The two contenders Coaster geeks felt were most plausible was Michigan’s Adventure or Kings Island. Up until December we were torn by who would get this great coaster. The questions were building until the first sight of something happening at Fort Cooper came. The images showed nothing than a cleared couple acres of land. This was more than enough to convince that something was indeed going there. Now that we know something is happening our eyes turn to the parking lot, looking for a sign of something new laying there. As much as PKIC has been busy, our eyes are now on what's happening at Geauga Lake.

I love all of these tiny clues. As you can see it seems we are going into a Cedar Fair way of hinting new rides.

It is a photoshop, and just like my signature says I m a Honorary Record Holder for Tomb Raider. CoastersRZ is not even close to my record. The real number is quite QUITE larger. Let's just say that I rode it for more than four hours without getting off. TRTR is here to stay.

Okay, I got away safely but they are still after me. All that you need to know is this is just some publicity stunt created by a local amusment park to promote there latest attraction! I don't have to long, they are after me. Fort Cooper is a Government restricted site. I was making my regular flight when a strange noise came over the radio. The noise got louder and more strange as I came closer to... Kings Island. I only had a while to realize what was really going on. Then again I am unsure what I saw. What I saw up there... I can never explane. It was... Something else. ...I have to now end this post, the government may trace this IP address so I must find another Computer. Good Luck my friends.

The lodge has something for everyone to enjoy. The slides are world class and the rooms are Universe Class! In response to CoastersRZ, The animatronics are on caliber to Disney Parks, but the animatronics from the Universal parks make these ones look dull. But then again that is coming from a Universal park. BTW you will see me siting with the mascot in the photo gallery and also about to get wet by the 1000 gallon bucket. Even if KK is the tallest and fastest I still think of TTD as the tallest and fastest, why I think so is quite self explanatory. It is an interesting video but to tell you all the truth I don't think I would want to ride a rollercoaster that was not checked properly. Would you feel comfortable riding a coaster that was maintained in the morning by a person making a video?

They have had that Cam for about a year now. They show it on the news for showing the wheather. Yes all of the PKI addicts knew of this cam but thanks for posting it for those who did not know of it.

Oh the beach is feeling the cold (no use to say 'feel the heat' since it is good in this case). First Boomerang Bay, then a world class resort with a world class waterpark! I expected the Beach to do something with the resort opening soon.

This is how I look at things. in 2000 we got SOB, a ride to bring back coaster seekers in 2001 we got the Nick Expansion to bring back Families in 2002 we got TRTR to bring back thrill seekers in 2003 we got a new Thrill ride and Family ride in 2004 we got a new and improved waterpark in 2005 we got a family coaster in 2006 we got a new and improved kids area. I look for a pattern, each year a new attraction is built to bring back a crowd of a certain thrill level, 2000: Thrill 2001: Kids 2002: Thrill 2003: Thrill and Kids 2004: Family 2005: Thrill and Kids 2006: Kids Do you see a pattern? It is all part of marketing, to bring back a group of people. If we were to go by this pattern guess what would come next... Thrill. And after that it would be Kids in case you were wondering. It's all about who will bring in the most $$$.

Well, as we all know the resort was being built before the buy from Cedar Fair, Hmmm. Great find Interpreter.

Well it can only get better. This year's was the best of them all. Cedar Fair will bring back the popular ones. I can expect The Undertaker coming back, he was a hit. All the less popular ones will most likly get replaced with something new.

If X-Flight does indeed make its way to Kings Island all I will want to know is if the restraints will be just as uncomfortable as Six Flags America's Batwing. I admit the ride was a wonderful experience and something I had never felt before on a roller coaster but the restraints took so much away from the experience. It was one of the most uncomfortable restraints I had even had on. Knowing X-Flight is the same layout I hope that the restraints are not like those of Batwing.

I took Dane and Ronny up on the 24th of October. It was a windless and perfect day to go flying.

The weather was more than cooperative, it was the best weather I had been in during a flyover! I decided to leave the picures to Dane and Ronny for this flight.

While HB holds so many memories for us, we have grown up guys! Characters like Fred Flinstone and the Jetsons are not known as well to the kids of today. I loved HB but I am happy it is now NU!
