  1. I almost don't want to go to sleep now. This is too much fun and excitement. So, here at page 344 (on my settings), I bid all a good night, and surmise I'll wake up tomorrow to a hearty page 600+ Nite ♥
  2. It's actually fully visible! So are Boddah1994, jcgoble3, Beastfan26, jackparanoia, TTD-120-420, and the phrase "Guests say the darnest things!" You're all stars! EDIT Sorry, slow connection... can't keep up with yall! I want all your autographs now. Oh, Thrill Biscuit, I don't have HD so when I watched on my television is only showed part of my username. Awesome, my whole avatar and name... Though I have no records of a post that match the time stamp that's on the news broadcast. I think different computers record different time stamps. Mine hasn't been accurate for almost 9 years
  3. I forgot Muppetfan! On there, too!

  5. This reminds me of opening up a model airplane box. All the pieces packed nicely together, not yet assembled; no way of knowing how each piece is going to turn into what's pictured on the box. Except we have no picture yet, only pieces... if these are pieces... ...I got a lot of reading to do tonight.
  6. "Comb" is an anagram of "BMCO", btw... as in B&M Co.?
  7. Well, only if it's a slow news day
  8. Extra crispy funnel cakes... a little longer in the fryer, s'il vous plait!
  9. Oh, yeah. All the local tv channels have some form of "If you see news happening, call the news hotline..." thing. [british dandy accent]: To the phones!~
  10. I think it would more likely resemble the interchange at Caesar's Creek flea market. Lots of farm land and a few more homes, stores and small businesses, but not to the scale that's there now. The sprawl would have flipped to the other side of the Ohio River.
  11. Oh, no, dude, just a mistake within a good topic. It's clear you edited your original post. This is a very good topic! Thanks for starting it. I agree that it would have been a Fess Parker world around here had Charlie, Gary and the gang not stepped in.
  12. The Partridge Family and Brady Bunch would have had very boring episodes where each family visits a soybean farm next to an interstate in Ohio.
  13. I'm lovin' how this thread is starting to wax poetic! There's dirt and new footers behind yonder fence, Doth thrill-thirsty thousands wot what's coming hence? A cheer of enraptured fans gather and bellow, Upon revelation from one well-dressed fellow! Everyone dance when you hear the good news, Of this thing which will knock you right out of your shoes! Where once stood that slumbering mess of a ride, Will now stand a legend 'twill fill us with pride! So go on and dream of your best guess and fancy, A diver? A twister? Diversion or Banshee? 'Tis but a few days, and then we will know, And then do it again, in a decade or so.
  14. New for 2014: BEANSPILLER! The world's least secretive construction project
  15. I wonder if it's a large midway game, where you throw balls at old, vinyl records. Whoever breaks the most wins a....[a well-thrown tomato hits thrill_biscuit squarely on the forehead]
  16. 10 PM? Does that mean with fireworks in the background? How Tony Stark!
  17. If your only exposure to roller coasters has been through video, you might be pleasantly surprised how awesome they are in person.
  18. Just my way of saying "Welcome to KIC!" BOT: I still remember "Good Morning, America" doing its piece on the DB announcement. One commentator quipped "How big do they gotta make these things?" There was some good nationwide exposure during the "rapids" of the 24-hour news cycle. A weekend announcement would seem, therefore, to be reserved for a lesser-anticipated scale of attraction, imho.
  19. I get a cumbersome batch of those errors almost everytime I go there lately.
  20. It can take its revenge out on The Vortex, by having a section cross the park and go through one loop, do a "bat" wing and return through the other!
  21. Well, unless it's a used wild mouse, that would rule out 1, I'm certain
  22. Where Delirium was? What's there now? Man, I need to keep up!
  23. That's the spirit! Welcome, dwitb!
  24. Without crossing the line into politics, I'll say that there is a marked difference between government censorship and private censorship. Private citizens in America still have the right to protect their private and intellectual property from damage or harm. The government's purpose is to protect their right to do just that; not to step in and do it for them.
