I think on a non-crazy busy day, you don't even need a whole day at Studios. You could even split it Volcano Bay/Studios or Studios/Islands that 5th day if you wanted to save money. But, most people making a once-in-a-lifetime trip down to Florida want to experience everything and go several days without worrying about money as much as the annual visitor.

I heard that team member previews got extended through April 16. I also have heard that there is supposed to be a walking path from Stella Nova (it was purposefully supposed to be there), and a way to get to the walking path from Stella Nova (which was unintentional I think). If you're wanting to not park in the parking lot, I think Helios is your best bet. Thanks so much for answering my questions @jzarley!!!

Kings Island General Discussion 2025
Diamondback_Is_King replied to Klabergian Empire's topic in Kings Island
I've actually never parked in The Beast parking lot area before. I always seem to end up in Racer, Banshee, Drop Tower (on VERY busy days), and Diamondback (for water park). -
A few questions if you don't mind (feel free to only answer a few if you want): How long did you wait for the rides you did experience? Of what you did see of Monsters Unchained (very unfortunate you couldn't ride it) was the queue cool? How large were the queue lines? How long would you wait for each ride? Were there any blow-away moments for you? How did it feel entering the worlds? Were you able to go into the Battle at the Ministry queue? Was the Floo Network effect working? (if so, how was it?) Do you think you would need 2 days to do all of Epic? (wands, food, rides, shows, etc.) How's the parking situation? Was it easily accessible? (unlike Magic Kingdom) Sorry for the many questions, I'm just so curious!

Kings Island General Discussion 2025

Yeah it's hard with the way it's designed because people exiting the park will either have to cross over the people entering to exit through the purple box or they will have to cross the crowd going towards the ticket center area (not that there are many people that actually go here, but the line can fill up during the summer). -

I can see some potential problems with this. Until this whole entry area is redesigned, it will continue to have bottlenecks during popular events like the Haunt. The green arrows represent guests leaving the park and the pathway that they should take to leave. The blue arrows represent guests entering the park, and the dotted blue arrows are for the very few people who use paper tickets. Finally, the gray represents walls/queue line dividers to get rid of overcrowding before entering and allows for less cutting in line. -

So how is this any different than what they had at the end of last year? -

Currently, some of the water slide pieces are just sitting in the parking lot. They've been there for a little while. -

Six Axes strikes again!!! -
You'll have to let us know how it goes! Wishing you a fun filled day at Epic! I have heard that Minecart Madness goes down a lot, so if you get a chance to ride it, definitely do it then if you want to ride it. I guess Monsters Unchained goes down frequently too. There are some amazing reviews of it online (here are some on a Universal forum page: https://forums.insideuniversal.net/forums/epic-universe-reviews.257/) I did see about Express coming out the other day. As expected, they are SUPER expensive. But, if you think about it, it could be worth it to some people. 11 rides, $20 per ride per person, is it worth it for me? That's the question I would ask myself if I were buying Express passes. I can't wait for Epic to open, but I think that it might be smart to wait a year before going. Sure, if you watch POV's then it spoils a little bit of the ride and you lose the effect of "how did that happen???" but the magic of the park is always on the inside. This park is really going to be Epic.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
Diamondback_Is_King replied to IndyGuy4KI's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Couple of things about this post: 1. Kingda Ka was demoed because of maintenance costs 2. Something at Cedar Point did get touched: Snake River Falls 3. They did not steal Siren's Curse from Six Flags Mexico. They didn't get the permit submitted by the park approved, so it had to be relocated. Why they chose Cedar Point, I have no clue (please don't say because "Cedar Point needs to be king") Many other parks could have used this coaster, but they chose Cedar Point. Probably to make up for the disaster of TT2. 4. Cedar Fair is now called Six Flags. Also, had it not been for Cedar Fair, all of the parks you know and love like I do wouldn't be the same without them. Cedar Fair made the parks what they are today, and we can thank them for it. Sure, we can be upset about the decisions they make or the rides they close, but it's out of our control. We just have to accept it and look on into the future. Look forward to what is to come and not what things used to be. Don't be disappointed that Siren's Curse went to Cedar Point "to let them be king" but instead be happy that you can enjoy it and it's not too far away from KI. Me personally, I would rather have Siren's Curse at Cedar Point than Mexico because I wasn't planning on making a trip down there anytime soon. I'm just excited to get on TT2 and Siren's Curse this summer because I've never ridden it before! Cheers to Cedar Fair for evolving the parks we have today, and lets see what Six Flags has in store for the future! -
Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge

This sounds familiar...where have I heard it before? In all seriousness though, this would give Cedar Point yet another way to market their park. Lucky for some of us, we benefit from living in Ohio because not only do we get our beloved Kings Island additions, but we also get to experience Cedar Point's new additions. -

Yeah not good at all. Dragster led to a lawsuit and that was destroyed and revamped. I wonder why they waited three years to file the lawsuit. Not a lawyer or anything, but can you actually wait that long before filing it? But, this could just be a rare accident like the woman that rode the Voyage and had a heart attack or something. Bad news for X2 though. -
Ha ha! Thanks! Somebody in line once told me that it was 60% snakes 30% bats and 10% tree. I didn't believe them
-
Not sure if this is a bad question or if anyone knows the answer to: Is there an order to which monster you get in the shed on Mystic Timbers? Or is it really totally random? I seem to get the snake the most, then the bats, and then the tree (my favorite). Wasn't sure if there was a percent or if the ride op chose the monster or something. I've given this question so much thought in the past that it gives me a headache!

How many times have you ridden Windseeker?!?!
Diamondback_Is_King replied to a topic in Kings Island
Actually, I take that back. I have ridden It twice. Once during a random summer trip a year ago and once during the Haunt two years ago. The Haunt ride on WindSeeker was amazing and I love how you can see the whole park covered in smoke and the lights flickering with scare monsters below. On a separate thought, I actually really do enjoy the Haunt, but not necessarily for the scariness and creepy sets. I like the smoke/fog, different lighting patterns through different areas, and of course the eyes on the Eiffel Tower! -

Diamondback_Is_King replied to a topic in Kings Island
Only ridden this once. I would only ride it for the views. Other than that, didn't wow me too much. I would much rather ride Shake, Rattle, and Roll. -
It seems like the screenshots are unavailable on mine. Could just be a computer issue on my end.

I know they had talked about this before and it be like a Citywalk-style thing. I seem to remember that Universal decided against it because it would be difficult to separate the "Citywalkers" from guests at the park. Plus, those who are coming out of the land would then have to maneuver through the people enjoying this Citywalk-style event. I personally, can't see this working too well. On a completely separate note, we now have our first in-park images of Epic Universe! These were taken by Universal and they look stunning! It almost looks fake and like concept art. My favorite picture here is Monster's Unchained because of how detailed the building is and just the effect it has on the surrounding area. I'm so STOKED!

I would be psyched too!!! I've heard so many good things about Monsters Unchained and can't wait to ride it! (see posts above ) I'm curious if Universal will let passholders take pictures and videos of the park itself (assuming they won't allow videos on rides. Which, is another question I have) Also, I heard that when Epic first go released on the Universal app, there was a "Virtual Line" button that was grayed out below each land. This is interesting because no announcement was made about virtual queues being at Epic and there wasn't a "Virtual Line" button on each ride, just each land. This tells me that they are seriously considering shutting off lands if the crowds get too bad. They definitely have the capability to close off the land, as there are doors that can shut right underneath the portals. I feel like we may be learning quite a lot on May 22nd, and I couldn't be more excited! I may not be going to Epic on opening day or maybe not even this year, but I love myself some theme park discussion, especially with Universal. It has always had a place in my heart, as I used to live 30 minutes away from Universal and have been 50-plus times! Epic has been in the making for a little over 6 and a half years (since 2019) and now it's almost complete. Can't wait!
