Since SOB is the only ride at PARAMOUNT Action Zone not named after a Paramount film, I'd change its name to something Paramount related. Perhaps "Lara Croft's Mine Adventure" and I'd theme it after Lara Croft. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

Coney Island is indeed a very charming park. I hope to make at least one visit there this year. In all honesty, I seriously doubt that Coney Island will get a version of the flying eagles. We shall see. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

Flight of Fear. It gets the longest lines of any coaster at PKI. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

It sure as heck wasn't warm last week. Hamilton Count had a snow emergency. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
italianchef replied to familyman's topic in Kings Island
Considering that PKI already has Nickelodeon Central and Hanna-Barbera Land (for how long?)...I doubt that Lemony Snicket has a future at PKI. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Italian Chef -
A look at the Flying Eagles New Home
italianchef replied to Vortex's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
As cool as the Flying Eagles were, I fully accept PKI without them. However, if I could bring back Phantom Theater....I surely would. And in my opinion PKI is not as super-duper a park as it would be if Phantom Theater was still there. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Italian Chef -
Amazon.com - The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island by Charles Infosino ^ A PKIC Guide book? That would be interesting, but it would be in terrible taste to compete with one of our main contributers. Now, Charles has toyed with the idea of a 2nd edition, and I'm sure he'd call upon the great people of PKICentral to help reformat the visitor's guide or whatever, but that's between he and his publisher. Should I ever write a second edition of The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island - I would be HONORED to receive help from the esteemed staff and members of www. pkicentral.com. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Italian Chef

As far as I know your only options are a taxi or renting a car. Personally, I don't advise driving in a place you don't know after Midnight in the dark. Hence, the taxi seems like your best bet. Have a great day! Italian Chef

If WinterFest returns and the Great Wolf Lodge is built....they would help each other attract guests. And if PKI would use my idea about a mini-New Year's Rockin Eve...they'd have even more success. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

Every year (except for two in which I was in Japan) I watch the apple fall from the top of Times Square on New Year's Eve. This event is associated with Dick Clark's Rockin New Year's Eve. Here is my question - would it be possible for PKI to hold a similar event? Can a ball be dropped from the top of the Eiffel Tower? Is the structure strong enough for such an activity? If so, couldn't live bands play at one or more of PKI's theaters? I wondered if PKI couldn't pull off a smaller, similar New Year's celebration as NYC's Times Square. Just a thought. Please let me know what you think. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Italian Chef

The worst rumor I read about PKI was on these pages....that Cedar Point was going to purchase PKI. It is simply not credible. Merry Christmas! Italian Chef

I voted for Tomb Raider because it is the best Hollywood themed ride and it appeared on The Travel Channel. Merry Christmas, Italian Chef

PKI to host "Italian Job: Stunt Track" const. tour
italianchef replied to Shaggy's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
I would love to attend....but with an infant, I cannot afford to take a vacation day so early in the year for a mere tour. Why must it be on a Friday? Have a great off season! Italian Chef -
As author of the first book ever written about PKI, I look forward to seeing the second book about PKI in print. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

It surely would be thrilling - but the insurance costs may or may not prevent it. Then again...one never knows. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

Yes Paramount did better. Notice that together, Disney and Universal Studios dominate the top 10. PKI should strive to be more like them. And with the Nickelodeon Parade, CDBB and TIJ....it is! Have a great off season! Italian Chef

It seems that PKI had an awesome year. I'd like to congratulate the staff on it. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

I am not a fan of the Pepsi Python as it is too shaky for my taste. However, I do like Coney Island as a park. It's a great place to walk around, do some flat rides and enjoy some scenery. If PKI were to close its doors - which won't happen any time in the next 50 years, I'd make many more visits to Coney Island. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

2005 Date for the Nick Parade and School of ROCK!
italianchef replied to Scooby_Doo's topic in Kings Island
School of rock? That isn't the coolest of Paramount's movies. Why can't they use a Star Trek film? That would rock! Have a great off season! Italian Chef -
I think she's the African-American lady who has a solo in Tuned In!. I reckon Patty has a very bright future in the entertainment business. Let us hope that she will grace PKI again with her talent next year. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

I do believe that Nickelodeon Central will expand at the expense of Hanna-Barbera Land...and quite possibly it may take some of Rivertown too. Have a great off season! Italian Chef

I am most certain that the scrambler will return in 2005. Have a great off season! Italian Chef
