Men's Rest Rooms
On the serious side: What possible motivation does the park have to install & maintain a/c? Some people cannot clean up after themselves or respect the next person who has to use the restroom (and, no offense to women out there, the ladies restroom is consistantly much worse then the mens). I cannot see how adding a/c units will improve that. Can the park do it? Sure they can. Should they? Absolutely not. It is a waste of money. The a/c will be working non-stop, and installing/ maintaning a/c units is very expensive. Also, was the building constructed with a/c in mind? Adding an element like a/c to an existing older building sounds easy on paper, but it is not even close to being thast easy. Space constraints, power constraints, proper air flow, insulation, environmentally friendly windows all have to be considered. The park needs to spend money in other areas to improve the guest experience, and so far CF has done that, but it is a slow process. How anyone expect everything to be solved at the snap of a finger? We all have to remember, the handful of bathrooms were not constructed under CF's leadership. I'll say it again: If the park acted on every guest complaint, there would be no direction. Now if the park constructed new restrooms as part of a building for food or sales, it would be foolish not to have a/c. Honestly, I have never even thought about a/c in all the restrooms.

Men's Rest Rooms
Perhaps it is not that easy, and more time is spent in the restroom than on rides, thus, a/c is very important. Maybe KI can get Flomax as a sponsor?

Old Paramount (Viacom) vs. Cedar Fair Managments at KI
How is removing queue TV's irresponsible?

Men's Rest Rooms
I can use a restroom all winter, but I cannot ride a coaster all winter. I'll take a clean park with good rides over a/c in the restroom any day.

Old Paramount (Viacom) vs. Cedar Fair Managments at KI
Paramount's comeback of WF, an event they first cancelled less than a year of purchasing the park in 1992, was nothing more than window dressing for a potential suitor. With the exception of accepting admission, Paramount did not put their heart into WF.

Vortex conked out
Many, many, many reasons why it won't open tomorrow. Intresting.... That leads me to believe it is more than just a chain issue. I'm glad to hear it was just a chain issue!

Men's Rest Rooms
Perhaps KI could teach some people proper bathroom etiquette. I have lost count on how many times other guests have left truly disgusting things (i.e. not flushing, not aiming, not lifting seat, purposely clogging toilet etc.) that have nothing to do with air conditioning.

^ If you heard the chain operating, I don't see why opening would not be tomorrow.

Gay couple asked to reverse shirt at Dollywood
How is being asked to turn a shirt around anything like this: http://www.rosaparks...44:who-what-how I cannot see how refusing to give up a seat to a white male (because you are African-American) is even close to being asked to turn a shirt inside out when the sexual preference of the bearer of the shirt was never disclosed. If the bearer of the shirt was strait, would you still feel she is like Rosa Parks? While you and I understand the shirt is a play on words, others may take the "gay" part as slang/ offensive and question it. The last thing anyone wants on their vacation is to have kids questioning what "gay marriage" is/ means at Dollywood. There is a time and place for those conversations, and Dollywood is not that setting.

Gay couple asked to reverse shirt at Dollywood
Yes I was. It is encouraging that even though his is gay, he knows where to draw the line. I wish more people like him (and I don't mean gay) had an open mind like that where their beliefs do not cloud judgement. It really depends what the shirt says. If it was something like: "Jesus Christ 4 Life" it probably would not be an issue. It is was something along the line of: "I'm Christian & Pro Life; abortion is MURDER" I can see causing an issue and should be dealt with accordingly.

^ That is one heck of a strong statement. Thanks for sharing!

Gay couple asked to reverse shirt at Dollywood
Really?? What reason did they give you to ask for such a request?

Gay couple asked to reverse shirt at Dollywood
In respect to your opinion, I see it as a publicity stunt. If you want to support gay marriage, more power to you. Hold a rally, or contact your local government official to voice your opinion. And no, this is nothing like Rosa Parks and how African-Americans were treated at that time in our history. Comments like that really show on how some Americans don't understand what was happening back then.

Cedar Point hotel advice
If coming from the East, use the "back way" to CP. That road has some really nice beachfront houses & great shots of Lake Erie & has it's own parking tolls. Don't be scared off by the Bon Air section of Breakers. It is not the nicest section by far, but it provides what a park enthusiast needs- bed, shower & a/c.

Absolutely not.

Reminder About Leaving Stuff In Boomerang Bay
No it is not. Employee theft is a concern for most businesses. It is also more difficult to catch the criminal since most security measures are pointed "out" instead of "in" (if you understand my meaning). When I owned my business, I would have friends go in and "check" my staff from time to time to be sure all items were being accounted for. Some intresting things I found: http://wiki.radioref...rren_County_(OH http://www.visitking..._jobs/index.cfm http://www.visitking...20Guidebook.pdf http://masonbuzz.com/2011/06/08/suspects-wanted-in-kings-island-credit-card-theft/

Reminder About Leaving Stuff In Boomerang Bay
^ It is rather safe to say the example of the incident and subsequent safety reputation at SFKK is much worse than the thefts of unattended personal belongings at various parks.

Reminder About Leaving Stuff In Boomerang Bay
Since the discussions have been primarily about reputations, I don't see why 7 years or 7 days make much of a difference. It happened. It is also good that it has not been a rash of incidents.
