Not for some. Another enthusiast site (that is better than any other site/ group and has no problem telling everyone that) believes CP's is the worst because the park does not spray the lot down everyday to remove the seagull droppings.

^ Although KI would never make a guest wear a uniform, it would not matter. There would still be complaints that someone's uniform was: too big/ small, wrong color, untucked etc. Some only see want they want to see. If they concentrate on looking for rulebreakers, those committing infractions will be found.

If it was a brand new chain @ the beginning of the year why would a link be needed on hand? Having a brand new spare link to be installed on a used chain will not work. Earlier when?

Huskers come from Indiana too!

^ I honestly don't believe he meant every 16 year old, but the typical 16 year old, at thier first job, confronting an older person (perhaps adult or group of adults) about following the rules. Do yourself a favor and don't take generalizations peronally. (and get some sleep, you are working lots of hours and seem a bit cranky! )

Vortex's chain could have been replaced before opening day this year, and a replacement chain was put on order and it simply has not come in yet. That is just one of many could haves in a long list of possibilities. Sometimes $^#t happens and it does not mean CF is cheap cheap or don't stock spare parts. CF does not have a long history of having rides down for typical wear & tear part failure. Now suddenly they are being cheap? On a side note- it is rather humorous that many people questioned why Vortex being part of ERT and how it was not that popular, and now people are questioning why Vortex is down due to a broken chain and it has now made the print media.

Many small machine shops had to close their doors over the past 4 years. With the economy improving, larger ones now have all their work plus the work the small ones had. Combine that with the amount of work machine shops have due to the numerous plant summer shut downs (maintenance work) it is not surprising the work cannot be done. Or the simple answer is, the manufacturer of the ride will not approve those parts, and we all know that is a big no-no in the state of Ohio.

Yes, I assumed you would be vauge in answering as we both know Haunt only happens at night and not during the day and the park has been rather clear in that Haunt is not for families.
-
Absolutely. I wonder if Paramount kept that stuff around?
-
Would this Haunt time be during the daytime or nighttime hours?

I have seen the same things numerous times at the SF parks on a number of occaisions. Disney & Universal?- not so much as they use more engravings than decals.
-
While it is a park rule, let's not take it to the next level and say the park is not being family friendly due to the same exposure that can be seen at other very family friendly venues.

I don't see how any seasonal park open approximately 150 days/ year have a theme as popular as HP. There would be no way to satisfy all the fans in such a small window of opportunity.

Sounds to me that none of the ride ops had the testicular fortitude to step up and say "this is not right". Yet, blame cannot be put on the shoulders of just the ride ops, as cruel as it may sound, the victim also should have had the sense of what he was choosing. There is a visible sign concerning the need for legs. We all know that many guests don't pay attention to signs, as a disabled vet, he should paid attention more than the average guest.

Trails are easily moved and KI has a large amount of woods to choose from.

Come Pride Night. Every Year they have a DJ streaming all throughout the park. I thought that the "streaming" were just floats featuring Liza Minnelli & Elton John!

^ Nice idea, if the manipulation angle can be eliminated. Those who are "friends" of employees can give credit where it is not due & those same people can also discredit others that actually deserve it.

Waldameer in Erie has a VERY nice log flume- no $5.00 needed & built just a few years back.
-
- Add a resort hotel that includes a sit down restaurant. - Add a relaxing log flume through the woods that cools you off w/o being soaked.
-
I would prefer a park wide sound system (speakers) hooked up to a DJ booth located in the former Tower Gardens. The park could use the interactivity between the rides (queues) and the gardens area to their advantage.

Disney to Cut Monorail Hours

Ahh, the cost of maintenance. I personally don't see this as a major issue. Shutting down 1 hr. after the park closes (instead of 1.5 hrs.) & not operating late on E-nights is not that much of a change. This decision is the lesser of two evils (the other one being the Monorails taking themselves out of service during the day). The Disney bus system is nothing short of fantastic. -
People treat the TV's just like signs- they are ignored. Combine that with the: cost of the TV's, maintenance of the TV's, cost of the videos, and the cost of ASCAP & BMI, (and other costs) the TV's were probably found to be an unnecessary expense.
