Distasteful Joke At KI
I dont see too much problem with it. I also don't buy the whole he is an actor and a human being so he shouldn't be selected like this. He chose the profession, knew the risks, made a personally and emotionally wreckless decision that would affect, himself, his family, his career, and his loyal fans. Everyone makes mistakes and we all have to live with them. Besides, try laughter sometime, it feels so much better than sadness....well until your stomach hurts anyways! I do find it disturbing that my man Ryan Seacrest is on the list, dude can't buy a break! But the Wiggles, eh, they can go!

Smokers Tossed Out Of [SF]GAm
I also think it's rude when non-smokers go to the smoking sections and just sit there on the benches while smokers are forced to stand. If you expect a smoker to respect a non-smoker's space, it has to go both ways. Any takers? I completely agree with you on that point Ryan! It doesn't seem quite fair. I know I have seen numerous times too, where that nonsmoker oft refuses to get up so that a smoker can sit down in the area, when there is an open bench in a non smoking area just 10 feet over.

New Beast and SOB Trains in '08?
lesson 1: G-trains are articulated...the current PTC's on Beast are not! -This means that the lead axle on articulated trains is not the only axle that has some "yaw" to it. In other words, articulated means, they track better and can take much greater banking in a much shorter span!

How Do You Rate Dead Awakening?
If you dont expose them to the horrifying side of suicide and all of the truly bad things associated with it how can you truly know that you are keeping them from considering it? I understand your intent, and your methods are completely your right, but don't you think that if you let them see how bad it is then they will deffinately never attempt or think of such things? Forgive me for being overly intentive but I can't help but think that your words of "don't ever do this" are not nearly as good as seeing a production that showcases how horrific suicide is. Keep in mind, you do not know what you dont wan't to do, until you've seen an actions effects first hand or dramatized. Think about the time that you learned about what "hot" meant. It was probably when your mom told you not to touch the hot stove and you did it anyways. Or the first time that you realized its not good to speed and got a ticket, or hit a tree. I am really not trying to be intrusive into your ideals, but am rather intrigued always have been, by others opinions and how they arrived at them. Kind of why I love politics!

Saturday is the 20th, and Saturdays are packed! Not only are waits for the haunted attractions long but so are the coaster waits.

New Beast and SOB Trains in '08?
However, if one ride currently needs a tremendous capacity, Beast is not one of them. I haven't ridden it one time this season when it had more than a 10 minute wait. There are exceptions and of course every ride does deserve great capacity. It just doesnt seem to be the kind of thing right now that would be a deal breaker if a better ride is on the line.

New Beast and SOB Trains in '08?
haha, you and I both know that I didnt mean nor did Chuck mean that the cars had actually been shortened. It was both his way and my way of saying that the trains were replaced.

New Beast and SOB Trains in '08?
Read the rest of Chucks post! He specifically says that the cars were shortened from 4 benches to 3 benches!! I'm quite sure that he knows! Devil is in the details!

New Beast and SOB Trains in '08?
Chuck, if that were the case, I like the idea very much! I agree with you that the experience would be much more comfortable and visually enhanced!

Where are the SOB getting Villian's trains threads?!

Whats your favorite park besides KI?
Disney World of course! Assuming we are choosing seasonal or quasi-seasonal parks however, I would have to say Busch Gardens Africa followed by Dollywood!

Where are the SOB getting Villian's trains threads?!
I am no expert on the subject, however, from what I have seen wooden coaster pieces are treated more or less the same way that Steel pieces are treated, although with a greater degree of care. The pieces are generally kept off of the ground on a wood coaster and held solid to prevent warping. Wooden Coaster pieces come to the site much in the way that roof trusses and prefabbed walls come to a job site. Like anything else, with care they can be put anywhere and stored, if used within a certain time. So staged in the parking lot, perhaps yes; just thrown on their sides, no, and even X-flights pieces had a method to the madness (atleast one can assume)! Millions of dollars is never just laying around on its sides! (except old millions of dollars, which can often be cracked broken and demo'ed!) You sir, are on a forum, an open-minded forum and sharing of ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. Many people here I assure you have just marked your character by the words of which you have marked this board! Remember that! What you say today may not harm you, but if you say it tomorrow, it may haunt you! Just remember that your opinion is never more important than anothers no matter how more right it may be. In future issues please remember that good old forum golden rule, "Speak to others as you wish to be spoken to"!

Third tallest coaster being built
Im pretty sure they wont be riding this 'coaster' for fun. Although Im sure test riding will occur at intervals. Not to mention they use the same elevator type system to get to the top of the rocket, that they will most likely use for a test to occur.

While I agree with what you are saying KJKJ, Wooden roller coasters do actually come in large sections. Not in the form of a spine and track sections and large singular supports. But, Wooden Roller Coasters do come in prefabbed sections of support structure and are simply hoisted into place, while track is on the other hand built layer by layer piece by piece. Then there was Intamin...who actually even uses fabricated wood pieces of track, though assembly is still much the same!

What are you saying? I sure as hell hope that you aren't dissing NASA, an american institution that has more to their doings than, an american flag, a rocket, and space travel.
