  1. Sounds like a good idea, especially for something different to do!
  2. ...Which is more often than not.
  3. The executive pay cut is very honorable, considering Congress recently voted for a pay INCREASE...
  4. high gas prices? not where i live! 1.63 is VERY low compared to where we were at even a month ago - not that it will stay this way for too long...
  5. i had this happen today for the first time...i logged in and was taken to the "forbidden" page....refreshed the main page and i was logged in...strange....
  6. With so many people having the problem, I'm not sure if this will fix it. I use firefox 3.1 (beta) and windows xp and have not had any problems. if you're using firefox, have you tried clearing out your cookies? maybe even the cache? sometimes the cache can become corrupted, but i'm not sure if it would cause this kind of problem...
  7. Wow...that's amazing that all three kids were found...the whole situation seems bizarre to say the least....I may have missed it, but i'm kind of interested in knowing the relationship between the the three children's parents and the guy who was supposedly taking them to the park...
  8. Cramer called the bottom at 11,600...he literally said, "i'm calling the bottom today! right here!"....oops...he has too many slip ups, too many reversals, many times saying "buy this stock or in this industry" and then the very next show saying you shouldn't own that stock or in that industry...you may as well throw some stocks in a hat and pick them randomly - it would probably perform as well as Cramer's picks...
  9. Jim Cramer, in my opinion, is a JOKE...unless I didn't know any better, this recommendation is a call to, as he puts it, SELL SELL SELL!....he called the "bottom" to the market somewhere in the 11,000s...and he always reverses himself - sometimes on the very next show!...
  10. I was there Friday as well...My girlfriend and I, along with her parents, did the following attractions....Club Blood, Cemetery Drive, Death Row, and Urgent Scare...Death Row was my favorite of the bunch, along with Urgent Scare a close second....Cemetery Drive wasn't all that scary...and Club Blood wasn't really scary at all - although it was quite funny when the the first girl in the door asked me, "hey baby what are you doing later tonight?" lol, with that I figured I knew what the rest of it was going to be like...
  11. i rode Head Spin during the last season at Geauga Lake...it was a little rough, but it was a decent coaster....Invertigo is similar (a clone?) to Head Spin, but Invertigo doesn't feel as rough....
  12. I'm not trying to be rude, but you stated that you got the answers that you were looking for...so what does it matter if the conversation continues elsewhere? That's what happens on forums...
  13. "Plus, enjoy all the VIP gold benefits at Kings Island!" So does that mean we won't have gold benefits at other parks like this year?
  14. i agree...i went to that page and was very excited at the special $79.99 renewal for a platinum pass....
  15. exactly! $15/person...where I got two large meals for $15 for two people!....and correction - that was four slices of pizza, two per person!
  16. i'll second someone elses opinion...i think the name for the ride will be one no one here has guessed...
  17. I'd hope so, with all the discounts they're offering... discounts = less nickels for kinzel to count as guests head out to their cars to eat lunch... and for a guy who said Kings Island was one of his favorite Paramount Parks in interviews after the CF purchase, I would think he would at least MENTION Kings Island...unless there is nothing positive to report...Where else, indeed... I visited Holiday World over the weekend with my girlfriend...we ate at a pretty big (unhealthy) meal at two pm....two slices of pizza, unlimited soft drinks, 2 cookies, and 2 apple sauces for $15...sorry but I'm pretty sure I would have spent A LOT more than that at Kings Island - i'll check LaRosa's pizza next time i stop in...
  18. i MAY be there...trying to work out my work schedule
  19. Most likely due to the fact that a majority of our theming was actual props from the Tomb Raider movie and had to be removed when the liscene was lost. I believe that KD's theming was simply build for the ride and had nothing to do with the actual movie. I could be wrong, but that seems like the best reasoning. Interestingly enough, KD is still playing music from Tomb Raider (the movie) in their Congo area. Even better - the flames and water spray are still working as well...and I could be wrong - but it sure LOOKS like Tomb Raider theming I see at KD...
  20. that's what THEY want you to think
  21. do you mean to say that other coasters are sinking, too?
  22. who cares if it has the same name? naming coasters the same name as other parks' coasters was paramount to a certain company...
  23. Thanks for that, Terpy!
