Now I'm wondering if in fact project 2011 at CP is going to be a coaster while KI is getting the swing ride? If that is the case, kudos to CF for genius in fooling the public. ( PS-just had my 1000th ride this past Friday on Mustang-lol. )

Some country stars came from Canada ( EX: Anne Murray ) or Australia ( Ex: Olivia Newton John in her country days pre-Grease and Let's Get Physical.)

Kudos to the DB staff for improvement of the line jumping situtation. I have also noticed there is more security in the area to back them up. Down side: Sadly, most of the public is willing to put up with line jumping and will act like the wrong doer is the person who takes action against the line jumper, not the line jumper. In my opinion, this reaction by bystanders is more disgusting than the actions of the line jumpers.

Have been looking at photos of the Starflyer and that actually looks like a lot of fun. ( Unless they are pulling a fast one on us and the ride is going to be a coaster after all-how I love Mustang. )

^Actually I wouldn't go that far-I'm not that mean. But its certainly nice to think about.

I guess this should be under guests do the darnest things. At any rate, has anyone noticed a trend of junior high age boys taking off their shirts during a coaster ride and waving it around? What's that all about? One of these days I'm going to grab that shirt from their hand and throw it to the ground. Then they will have some explaining to do when they get back to the station. It is really downright annoying to have someone's sweaty shirt waved in my face.

Pretty much every ride except Beast through the final helix ( After Terpie's warning ) and Maverick. (Regarding my shoulders in Fred Flintstone's words: Yeowww!!!!!)

I am sure I am right about this one Terpie about the pepperoni being below the cheese in the pre-Cedar Fair days, which is how the pizza is at the local stores.

Except since Cedar Fair took over, they have been putting the pepperoni on top of the cheese, not the proper LaRosa's way which is under the cheese.

And stingy on the pepperoni. ( Its a wonder there was so much orange grease on our pizza since there was hardly any pepperoni.) By the way, what were we talking about? Oh, yeah, the new ride at CP......................

Those clues are getting weird. The latest clue on Facebook shows a picture of what appears to be a couple strolling on the beach. If you click it you will be taken to a youtube video from 1944 showing a singer named Nick Lucas ( never heard of him) singing a song called Side by Side.

^I don't know, it just seems like Oktoberfest died after they got rid of the hourly Chicken Dance.

Actually I like Spongebob-don't forget he hasn't totally disappeared from KI. He reminds me a lot of the Looney Tunes characters that I grew up with.

I noticed Oktoberfest was included in the poll. What Oktoberfest? Its pretty much for all purposes gone. Thirty plus years ago, I would have said Oktoberfest was one of my fav parts of the park with Der Spinnin Keggers, The Rotor, Bavarian Beetle, The Tumble Bug, and The Shoes ( I can never remember the name of that ride. ) all of which are gone now.

Sundays are usually not that busy from my past experience. Last Thursday was Cincinnati Reds Day and it wasn't busy at all at least in the evening. Even if you do come on what appears to be a crowded day, I encourage you to ride the rides even if they appear to have long lines-as I said on my previous threads, the stated waits are usually overstated or exaggerated by other park guests. And if you are going to travel the distance, which is better, to wait in lines and ride or just walk around the park and ride nothing?

My friend Derek and I are going up Labor Day weekend. Derek found a great deal at Quality Inn in Milan, just about 7 miles fom CP. With tax, room comes to about $77 per night. Looks like a real nice place with an outdoor pool, an indoor pool with a hot tub plus a continental breakfast in the morning.

From the amount of people I see line-jumping in broad day-light, I doubt very much that turning on the lights in the hangar has cut down on line jumping.

Also thought Charlie Brown Hoedown was a cute show. Any doubters as to whether kids would "get" the peanuts characters should have been erased by the reaction of the kids at the show.

Looking at the latest clue, looks like could be a coaster after all-the long neck of the dinosoar looks like it could be a first drop on a coaster. It reminds me of a Flintstones episode where Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty were at the World's Fair and riding a roller coaster which was in fact a dinosoar. ( Used to love how those animal gadgets would break the fourth wall, ie " I must have been crazy to take this job",etc. )

With some of the dumb copycat behavior you see these days, wouldn't surprise me if people copied the Coyote's behavior when he was trying to catch the Roadrunner. ( sigh.)
