I have wondered about this ever sense my visit in July last year. Most of you are familiar with WWC, I presume. about 3/4 of the way back through, there is an opening with vending machines, benches, where the exit and entrance to the ride are joined. The line didn't back up until the bridge crossing the water right before the platform.Pretty short line. As we were walking back, a group of kids crossed that section right in front of us and ran on up the path. No problem. A few minutes later, after we had passed that point, another group did the same thing. This time though, we were between them and the formation of the line. I have always been under the impression that the line started when you enter under the WWC sign right by the train platform. So when they tried to push through my group and run past, I stopped them. Told them that they couldn't line jump. They started to argue that we were not "in line" yet, just walking down a path. My response was, the line is 50 feet in front of us, and we WILL all stop up there. If you insist on jumping past us, I'll just get a ride op when we get up there and let them decide what line jumping is. They decided to play it safe, and stay behind us, so it all worked out to my benifit, but I have wondered about it ever sense. I don't want to be considered an A$$, but at the same time, I don't want to wait extra time because a bunch of pre-puberty kids decide to run past me. Was I wrong in stopping them at the point I did? Is it really not a line until somebody is stopped in front of you? Or is the entire queue a "no passing zone" from the time you enter it? Even though it is very wide to be a queue. I remember when it first opened, you were lucky to get under the entry sign before the line formed.

You think that GL commercial was scary!? Watch this one! I never see KI commercials in Indy but I see CP, GL, SFGAm, HW, IB, SFKK, and SFStl commercials! I had a dream last night about a Diamondback commercial! It said very little about Diamondback, they just said "New for 2009 is the brand new Diamondback! But who cares about that!? We have a used over rated Vekoma, Come ride Firehawk!" Very odd... Cool!!! That was the first commercial that ever made me want to go to GL.....Oh well, too late.

I'm one of the "Old Timers" that says I miss how things used to be. I can also say though, the changes that have been made have been awesome!!!! The only old part that I wish was never changed was the animal safari. Everything else that was removed or changed made the park better, but I really enjoyed the animals. Of course it's just a matter of opinion.

a couple of the "spinney" rides have caused me to lose my lunch!!! Does that count? LOL

Is that even legal??? I could understand companies showing stuff from their other properties, but a competitor? Seems like a lawsuit ready to happen.

It's not about the events...it's about the "status" of being a member, and seeing all the people in the parks bow to your greatness!!!! LOL At least thats how the people in ACE seem when I see them in the parks!!!! Now, I'm just kidding around, no need to reply with "Hey! I've been a member for X number of years, and I don't do that" You ALL know what I'm talking about....LOL

Never say never. If the economy stays in the crapper. People have no extra cash to visit. Park profits drop, then what? Think Cedar Fair will lose money on the park because they like it?

I know the formula's are different, but I don't know what the differences are....More ethanol in the summer? I know the winter stuff has a brown tint to it, and in summer it is much more clear, almost watery....

I just came home from the corner station, and gas was lower than I've seen it in a long long time. $1.39/gallon. Hope this continues, but I'm sure it won't last..... I just wish I had some sort of mass storage tank, so I could buy enough now, to get me through the summer. You know it will be back up to 4.00/gallon + this summer

The plaque wasn't made for The Beast grand opening though. It was made for it's 25th anniversary. Thats why the plaque says Paramount. If the plaque stays, the language should stay. If the plaque goes, then bye-bye Paramount

remember as you get riled up, that UC made enogh money from OSU in each game that they played to carry them for the entire football season. That is the reason OSU plays Ohio schools early in the year. May as well help them with money instead of sending it out to Rice, or Eastern Michigan or another school that would have no chance.

People always stress "The" in the name. Mostly noticed by football players, but everyone that I know personally that has graduated from there says it like that. Must be some sort of code or something. They all claim Thats the name of the school. Look at the logo at the very top of the page. It's the official school logo. http://www.osu.edu/

WOW.... Was the place even open? Did you sneak in? I don't see any people there...Even on the rides that are running... Maybe I should read Terpy's quarterly reports a little closer. 6F doesn't look to be doing too great?

Wow!!! You get a much better feel for the scale of it with the guys being in the picture!!!! The webcam doesn't do it justice.... The LITTLE hill going into the splashdown is big!!!!!!
