  1. That was the Spring Semester, Terp.. This is Fall Semester, new homework, same dog
  2. Diamondstack could have 10 people in the queue and have a 60 minute wait, so DEFINITELY dont use that ride (or crew) as an indicator. See also, Firehawk. Of the rides you listed, only Banshee (and its stellar crew) is even a remotely accurate barometer of ride popularity.
  3. With my recent track record on guesses and predictions, I should just keep my stupid mouth shut, but I will say that I cant ever honestly see the Powers that Be, nor the general or enthusiast public, allowing The Beast to be RMC-ized. The Racer, Im not so sure about.
  4. A good point, there would definitely be a chance that the heavy breathing and "things that go bump in the night" would be from people other than Scareactors.
  5. Do you think Kinzel sold them as well? Alright, I admit Im a bit of a conspiracy theorist (and yes i know it was just as much Gary Story's stupidity as it was "the" Dick Kinzels) but thats a good one, LOL.
  6. Id be absolutely ecstatic with everything you described here, up until the"feel someone breathing on your neck" and the "low growling laugh in your ear" part. That would put me into defense mode, and it just wouldnt end well. Take out the roaming scaractors, and I am IN!
  7. And that last part, killed it for me . I have a very difficult/nearly impossible time in "regular" Haunts that contain scareactors, handling them in that type of environment would be impossible. I was genuinely hoping for the type of experience I described.
  8. Honestly, I never have been to Arnold's, but its on the list, along with Adventureland, for next late spring when we go to visit my Mother before we move. When I was a child, I Loved Adventureland but was deathly afraid of roller coasters, with the exception of Der Flitzer. By the time I was a teen and had Friends with vehicles, we were more apt to drive to WoF for the larger thrill rides. However, I most definitely have a deeper appreciation for Adventureland these days, and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it in June of 2013 (with the exception of that atrocious Underground and the fact the Tilt-A-Whirl was down for maintenance).
  9. Thunderbird does the very same thing at the end of the ride, but I honestly think that slow roll/hanging feeling is pretty cool. Thats one of my favorite parts of riding row 1 on Banshee.
  10. I completely agree, and I definitely dont have a problem with the decision, due to the fact that expanded Planet Snoopy=more money spending Parents bringing Their children=higher per caps=better looking attendance and financial figures for the park=better chance for an amazing installation with their available CapEx in 2017-2018. I am a big, big WoF fan, growing up in Des Moines, Iowa made me a very regular visitor to the park.
  11. This is greatly surprising to me, as I honestly thought WoF would be one of the parks receiving a new coaster for their 2016 Cap Expend, considering their last roller coaster installation was Prowler in 2009. Im not saying this in a negative way, simply in an observatory way.
  12. While a lot of others wont step up and do this, I will come right out and admit I was....unfortunately.... very wrong in my prediction. I predicted that the dive coaster crapola was exactly that, and Mean Streak would be getting an RMC revision, with the cleared area being used for a VR interactive dark ride. I dont mean unfortunately in that I was wrong, I dont mind that at all, I mean unfortunately because of the installation of the (IMHO) very underwhelming one trick pony that is a dive coaster.
  13. I do believe the focus in that photograph is intended to be the two signs that say "Remain Seated", as a "cute" way to say "Stay tuned, you will all get your information tomorrow at 2pm."
  14. Gee, thats no surprise. The kid would commit hari-kari if he got banned from all CF properties and couldnt attend the Anniversary of his beloved Arrow looper next year and couldnt "pop pedals".
  15. Meh, I had no idea, I honestly had totally forgotten about that and didnt give it a passing thought. I was just thinking of how they could make my original idea work from a crowd control/capacity/feasibility standpoint.
  16. My guess? A group of 4 to 6 allowed in every few minutes, acting as a form of "recon" team, helping each other through the maze as a group. There will very likely be "Mazemasters" with flashlights, to find and retrieve/extract teams that arent through the maze in a pre-determined amount of time.
  17. It looks to be a sensory deprivation experience, with absolutely zero lights in it, and very likely loud music/screams/distracting sounds playing while you attempt to navigate the 100% dark maze from entrance to exit.
  18. If that track were dark red, instead of green, I would have thought you posted pics of Diamondbacks splashdown track!
  19. "For starters, there are the lines. Long lines. Seemingly never-ending lines. Lines that remind me of waiting to pay my taxes until the last possible day and standing there, zombie-like, at city hall, hoping that by the time I get to the front, I’ve remembered all of my paperwork. The lines themselves are bad enough, but the worst part is the people you get trapped in line next to, which is a total roll of the dice. There is always a chance you could get stuck in line next to someone who is, to use a technical term, a total moron. You just never know when you are going to be fortunate enough to spend the better part of an afternoon standing next to someone who talks about inane things, invades your personal space, doesn’t practice good hygiene or — if you are lucky enough — some combination of all three. There are generally people you would not associate with during the course of your daily life, but since you both have a burning desire to ride “The Beast,” you are thrown in with them for a few hours and forced to endure all of their foibles. Then, if you are lucky enough to survive your time in line, you actually get to ride a roller coaster. This is a regular barrel of laughs because, in some sort of technological marvel, all roller coasters now being built are much smaller than roller coasters used to be. Even the roller coasters that were built 40 years ago when the park opened are smaller than they used to be." There is no possible way I could have said this any better myself, especially on a PG forum. Absolutely spot-on, as to why I have chosen to take the exit path that I have. The rides themselves, I still Love and can still handle the physical demands and exertion, but what is quoted here.... not so much.
  20. If you go after July 1 (ish), you will both have a place to stay, as we will be living in the area!!!
  21. Or (if the what I still believe to be false "leak" is actually true) New Junk For The Point
  22. Each with an underwhelming ending, ESPECIALLY the lack of number 3!!
  23. Cool, get you and Rick, Foxx and her girl, and Brad together, and THATS a group I will enjoy going with on opening day.
  24. Trust me, put NOTHING past Gannett Publishing, I have worked for them before. EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! i just read the article* and, may I ask, Terpy, how you even got through it without knocking yourself out from too much face-palming, or falling out of Your chair laughing??? Just, wow!! *Bird cage lining
