  1. Off The Charts! is a staple if I go. Just see my member title and signature to know why.
  2. You really think KI won't be taking photos of The Vortex demo? C'mon.
  3. On the off chance I have more money to work with that I thought, there is an extremely slight chance I may add SFGAm to this trip. I didn't realize how close I am to Chicago going to Indiana Beach. If I could pair that with a Reds game in Chicago, I'd be even happier (and get me some legit Chicago style pizza). I would probably scratch Waldameer and do only 1 day at CP in that instance as well. That's all extremely doubtful though. If I do the original plan, I may stay in Port Clinton for both CP and Waldameer.
  4. I'll be honest- I don't see the point in making a giga coaster use terrain all that well.
  5. I usually brag about my future summer's plans this time of year, and last year I was unemployed, so not looking for that big a trip this summer. Likely doing Holiwood Nights again, mostly exclusively because Voyage got re-tracked, but I have a decent trip planned along side it. Still looking into the timing as I have to wait for my community band schedule to come out, but likely late-June/early-July or late-July/early-August, I will probably be making a return to the northern Ohio and Michigan parks with Cedar Point and Michigan's Adventure. I will be adding 1 or 2 parks this time as I also want to return to Erie to get in Waldameer again and I'm also looking into my first visit to Indiana Beach since its kind of on the way to or from Muskegon. Depending on costs and/or length of the trip, I may omit Waldameer. I need no info on 3 of the parks, but info on Indiana Beach would be helpful, mostly lodging and overlooked things to make sure to hit/eat when I'm at and around IB. I already know my game plans for Muskegon, Erie and Sandusky/Port Clinton. Just have to decide the route and park order. Part of me wants to save CP for last, but I'll forego that if the routing works better otherwise. I'll likely be doing 1 day visits to MIA, IB and Waldameer and it'll be a coin toss for if I want to do 1 or 2 days at the Point. I'm planning on FLP for CP for sure.
  6. The turn around appears to be a bit tighter in diameter and much higher banked than what was shown in the renderings.
  7. ^Aside from a few firsts (Magnum, MF, TTD), total track length (steel and overall), and all the hybrid records with SV, CP doesn't have a lot of the records it used to have anymore. KI might legitimately have more current records than CP right now.
  8. My 2019 was a bit slow. Spent all last year unemployed which affected my park visits, though I did make it to the park about 5-6 times and did my first Holiwood Nights (which I'm planning on returning in 2020 with the Voyage re-tracking). I am planning a trip in northern Ohio/Michigan this summer- likely CP, MIA and either/or Waldameer and Indiana Beach. I hope to get to KI more than I have the last few seasons, too.
  9. You should still be able to catch a glimpse of it on the DB cam.
  10. I'd say people were more excited due to it being the park's first B&M and the fact that enthusiasts weren't whining over the stats. I also think it won't suffer in its lines as much as many on here think it will with Orion's presence.
  11. I'll probably miss opening day this season. Pretty hard pressed to get weekends off at the Clifton Skyline and I already need a Sunday off around then for one of my concerts.
  12. We should do a KIC takeover of Diamondback and yell that towards the houses at the top of the first hill.
  13. Y'all are just making my point of why Hersheypark is awesome with the combination of sugar things and amusement parks. Just sayin'.
  14. I thought the other reason it was removed was to extend the brake run when they replaced the trains around that time.
  15. I wonder if they could pull a Lightning Racer kind of thing where one drive box controls both tracks.
  16. Among The Racer improvements I'd like to see would be returning to the original red, white and blue color scheme and getting LED chaser lights down the entire length. EDIT: Also red and blue neon lights around the station and queue.
  17. Blue Racer was running very well this season. In fact, I had my best ride ever on it on Haunt opening night- on a wheel seat.
  18. ^He just said they're removed, he didn't say what happened to all that stuff.
  19. A lot of us like parks for things other than coasters. I take it you like parks for their coasters and that's fine. I look at everything else as well. CP is certainly up there for me though, just not quite my favorite.
  20. Knoebels also deserves mentioning here IMO. Its super affordable and they have a ton of old school charm with a lot of classic rides. They also take care of their coasters, specifically their wood coasters, very, very well. Fantastic food on top of it. Also, Elysburg, PA is beautiful.
  21. This is an easy one for me- Dollywood. A perfect blend of a lot of elements that mesh together very well. Good ride selection and variety, great food and shows, excellent service, original and well designed theming with a little southern charm that is due to said theming, and a beautiful location.
  22. I think the better question is if anyone knows why its been pushed back so far. This isn't a good look for Premier either.
  23. Its spelled clef. silver2005, see my member title.
