Don't get me started on this guy, He's a few fries short of a Happy Meal. I've also heard some creepy stories from other photographers about him. He tried to start tagging KI50MOVIE to his posts during Winterfest and in January. Let's just say after I threatened him legal action for him trying multiple times to associate my brand BLMedia and KI50MOVIE to his product, it stopped. The park is aware of this guy. Let's just say he is not very smart at hiding who he is. He lives pretty much 10 minutes from the park. You are better off blocking him. Trust me. -
https://local12.com/news/local/small-plane-goes-down-in-madeira-cincinnati A plane has gone down in Maderia. It was an aerial photo plane taking photos today and heading back to Lunken.

I'm speaking about the whole awning. Let's just say it's no longer OEM equipment.

From the research we have done for @KI50Movie_Official, I can tell you CF made the right choice to remove it. There were a lot of issues and an enormous amount of money thrown at it. It was just not fiscally responsible to keep it in operation. It was a beautiful ride and would captivate me when arriving at the park. I wish I would have bought a camera before it was gone. @Gordon Bombay, I'm jealous of your trip up on that lift hill and admire the photos you created on that foggy morning. (BTW, I would love to purchase a print of that image looking down the lift chain side for my home office)

I came across this article today posted on another site. I’m not sharing this as a promotion of another site, but as a promotion of the message it conveys. I recommend everyone on here should read it. https://www.coaster-net.com/blogs/have-enthusiast-taken-the-fun-out-of-roller-coasters Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You can’t compare a seasonal park with a year round park on pricing and operations. Apples and Oranges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I agree with @chugh43 that possibly a MACK could be installed. Due to the early demise of Volcano and a need to fill the spot quickly, I assume it will be a fiscally sound option to fill the gap. My top 3 guesses would probably be a MACK, Gerstlauer, or GCI (Non-Kiddie Coaster), as they would be a something that could be installed at a lower cost and something their direct competitor BGW does not have. Sorry, Michigan's Adventure it looks like more trash cans for you. LOL

If you attend Coasterstock this year, you might get to hear Maestro briefly laugh in that building once more.

It could be "Yesterday Once More". I think only a handful of people on here will get that reference. lol -

Kings Island Super 8 reel from 1972
Oldschool75 replied to HarvestmanMan's topic in Kings Island History
The Fessler films are different than the ones you donated to our project. I busted folks to know that. Lol. Yes, the Coney Island reels contain a lot of...um....let’s just say those portions will not be restored. Lol. Yet, there are some gems in it. I’m hoping to get them scanned soon. The problem is the chemical that is used to clean the film is pretty nasty stuff and requires a well ventilated area. Since it’s been below freezing outside I haven’t been able to probably clean them. I wouldn’t even attempt to do it in my basement. Stay tuned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It’s called courtesy and respecting the park’s privacy as they prepare for the new season. A concept that many have forgotten or never were taught. :| Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just a warning. I would highly advise not flying a plane/drone/etc to get photos of the park.

I think Invertigo’s footprint would be more useful for a return of the picnic grove. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why not just bring back the Skyride. Remove slingshot, add a new station, convert the Snoopy store in PS back into a station. Evacuating people from 100ft up is not as hard compared back to the late 70’s. Fire trucks now days have ladders that go that high. Wouldn’t be hard for the park to purchase a cherry picker with a 100’ reach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I second that motion and move to close the idea of even chopping down any trees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

“The park's iconic international-themed entry is ready for its first-ever makeover since the park opened more than 45 years ago.” Somebody at Channel 5 might want to fix this statement. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There are usually multiple events going on in the park the same weekend as CoasterStock. -
They were, the itinerary hasn't been updated yet. Not sure if the site completely live since it is not on the front page, but the link I have booked marked shows the dates for 2019.

The same as the park building an RMC, a wing coaster, a new bathroom, a new restaurant, or even nothing at all.
