  1. This is great Kirk, thanks for sharing!
  2. I know I said it in another thread, but I will say it again! This was a great season KI! Thank you! I look forward to go Wind Seeking in the spring!
  3. Look at all the posts about the park being packed this month, I went of Friday night this year and was packed more that I have ever seen for a Friday and I haver been going for years. I would want them back as well. I am not a person who likes to see a midget bleed, but figure all the people watching that show is not in front of me in a queue! It is a win win when you want it to be.
  4. Yes, this was a great season KI! Thank you! Look forward to go Wind Seeking in the spring!
  5. Maybe this date co insides with Wind Seekers completion?
  6. Can't believe IB did not make dirtiest park on your list. I do agree they are not at all concerened about capacity.
  7. I agree, my favorite time to go is when daily operations start and school is still in. same in the fall once school returns and still in daily operations!
  8. Sounds to me that the ride op could have been right. Let's say one of the three trains was having issues with those seats. Instead of removing that whole train and going to a 2 train op, you just block off that row for all 3 trains. Capacity is better with 3 trains with a few rows missing than 2 trains will all rows in operation. I could be wrong, but this fits what the ride op said? EDIT: I just realized I just restated what Braves0511 said. Sorry Braves!
  9. LOL, what kind of reaction do you get Terpy?

I heard other people asking why it is closed since it does fit the theme, from a few people at the park when I was there a few weeks ago. These were first time haunt people. My # 1 guess would be cost savings, not operating the ride saves them money to operate the haunts. That is just my guess. On another note I did notice that the scrambler was in operation this year. This has been a haunt queue over the past few year. My wife and I got a ride on that a few Fridays ago! Appreciated that change!
  11. Hard to avoid the fog in some areas, although I enjoy the fog. I don't feel the fog is any thicker than past years as others have said.
  12. You went last Friday and didn't stop by to see Sam the Butcher? How dare you! We did not do any haunts. It was our first trip without the kids and my wife wanted to ride rides. Otherwise I would have been there, sorry gator, did not meant to hurt your feelings! : )
  13. You went last Friday and didn't stop by to see Sam the Butcher? How dare you!
  14. Looks good HTCO! Keep up the good work!
  15. The wife and I rode it 2 times last Friday and it was great! Thanks for the PTR McSalsa!
  16. I started to reply to this and welcome you to KIC since this was your first post, but noticed that you have been a member for almost a year. So I guess I will say happy first post!
  17. Looking in the bottom of the mug, after the last tea is drunk (yum, tea)...sand..dusky... And how ironic, given Terp's love for great adventures, that the person who identified Maple Grove for the forii was Jackson! 18? Mm.... What is the reason you call it Maple Grove Terp?
  18. I would like to know the main draw for the GP to Haunt. What do you think? These are multiple guess in no particular order. Haunt attractions End of season and last time to ride Temperature change Better marketing by CF I remember going to haunt in the PKI days and loving it mostly to low crowds! That is not been the case over the past several seasons.
  19. I agree with Adam. I also want to add seeing the fall trees changing colors on DB and Beast top it off as well!
  20. Oh please, up to this point I think HPB has been proven sucessfull and everyones worries proven wrong, fan of the show or not.
  21. If and when a decision is made do you think it will even get a press release? Let's say the decision was already made. We have heard nothing from the park as of yet. Indyguy, just wondering.
  22. Awesome, glad you enjoyed it. I have yet to have a night ride on Beast this season. Hope to make it there next weekend. Thanks for the TR.
  23. That was my thoughts Dave. It seems to me Kats first objective was to save the coaster from demo. Second, create a way to raise funds to start the move of the coaster with the site. Now she can start working on what should have been suggestions not criticisms that have been made. This is going to be a learning experience for all involved, it is not like enthusiasts move coasters all the time. Good luck Kat!
  24. I can not believe a smaller park was not interested in the ride. Seems it would be a great honor to have a John Miller in your line up of coasters.
  25. And the. Com site is very hard to read and use. Hats off to our very own Kat for taking on this major project. I hope to ride it for the the first time some day will the help of all of us enthusiasts.
