There likely will be lights still along the WWC queue path.
-
And then you have this gem: Found this one from the year I was born (a bit earlier than I was born as a November baby)
-
Can you give a link to it?
-
Whatever it was, is gone....may be from some work for the queue/entrance sign/exit routing.
-
Maybe it's a headchopper effect for WWC!
-
I'm just now $25 away from the minimum goal of $100! I'm pretty excited about that!
-
But you also have rides like Diamondback that it's car then seat..... so 8-2 wouldn't refer to the row, it'd refer to 8th car seat 2. The front of the car (observing from left to right is) Seat 1, Seat 2 and then back of the car is Seat 3, Seat 4.

Coney has Special Announcement Coming March 2

Like this with more spinning -
Season Pass for sure if you've already got the FunPix program...but for those who don't it'll likely be a card. I wonder if there will be anything different for those who have it for all season already.

Sit On it - A nostalgic look back at KI...
Creed Bratton replied to Shaggy's topic in Kings Island History
It would be awesome if we had a Town Hall like CP does but less random items from a certain time frame but more KI history. -
FunPix is a photo program that rolled out last year. It's unknown at this point to the public how it'll work for Coasterstock. It'll likely be FunPix for just the 2 days of the events. You will be able to take your card (I'm assuming that's what they'll give everyone) to any of the ride photo booths to redeem your pictures to download them later. It also will work for the front gate photos. The program is fantastic. I have it all season long (I did last year) and absolutely loved getting the pictures from my trips. This year, more parks than KI and CP will have it.

But that'd suggest the track would be red....and.....well.....I'm tired of seeing red track at Cedar Fair parks!

What Coaster will your ride first when KI opens?

Mystic Timbers if we count the First Riders Auction.....if not, Preview night.....hmmm Banshee maybe? -
I'd love for it to be open, unless the 2018 season leads to a new attraction in that spot.

2017 Gold & Platinum Passholder Preview Night
Creed Bratton replied to rcwizard13's topic in Kings Island
It actually looks as if they're only doing first rider shirts for those participating in the "first ride auction." When it's been asked on their Facebook page, they've just mentioned first rider shirts for that vs. opening day. -
So looking further, it seems to deal with the options of " Method to use for content I follow automatically " which gives the options of one email a day, one email a week or a notification when new content is posted. I've went to the "a notification when new content is posted." Not really sure what that entails, but I guess we'll see when it happens. I'd just prefer not to get any notifications other than those I selected at the bottom section of the notifications settings page.

This was for the year Top Gun was opened..... I've been on the ride several times since....have never experienced a ride like what's portrayed here!

I've not split the Plan with anyone, but I feel you do break even with the cost. I have friends who share one at Cedar Point and they love it, they break even. But again, it really just depends on how often you visit.

I doubt that a Florida law would really apply here in Ohio. With just seeing it on the webcam and not in person, I'm guessing it's just to spruce it up a bit.
-
I like your idea of the naming of it and sort of following the idea of the layout of the original Shooting Star. I wouldn't put it close to the Little Miami River though.
-
I don't generally pay much attention to non-US coaster installations, I just have seen the promos.
-
You are correct. I never looked at the height, because I assumed it was an Intamin accelerator coaster, it was in the 400 foot range.
-
^ Nope, that'd be a Strata Coaster.
-
That makes much more sense! Thanks for clarifying!

Does the train have on-board audio? I only saw like 4 speakers on the course after the turnaround for the drop. While I think audio is nice for a ride, I don't think it'd fit Mystic Timbers well, nor the area. Imagine riding WWC and hearing chainsaws and music themed for another ride.
